2023.06.11 00:12 FamousDragonfruit493 I Want To End The Friendship Am I Over Reacting?
I have a tendency to be a bit overdramatic and theatrical sometimes and I let my temper get the best of me. It’s gotten better as Ive gotten older but I’m still a work in progress, so I’m here asking for your advice.
Here’s the situation in story. I’m a young(ish) woman in her 30s who has some minor health issues i recent years that has lead to a little bit of weigh gain in recent years. Nothing insane but some weight gain. Anyway my health issues are under control now and I’m on a mission on get my health and weigh back to where it was.
One particular friend of mine has been super encouraging and motivating. Especially since he’s he’s always been very athletic his entire life. I’ve been doing so great lately this friend of mine told me I inspired him to give up one of his own vices for his own health and well being. And recently with another extremely small health concern he seemed to express worry and concern which I appreciated.
It was great having a little accountability partner and a friend that could motivate me instead of be a bad influence. That was until today when he made several completely bizarre and out of pocket and out of character comments to me while we were messaging each other earlier.
I couldn’t believe how he was speaking to me it was like another person had his phone. I was appalled.
Anyway being it’s the weekend I mentioned taking a day off for rest instead of going to a clothing store for an item I needed. He seriously replied “get your fat a** up and go to the store” like damn I put on some weigh but im not seriously that big not even close😆 then he tell me the garment I need might not be available because they don’t have enough fabric.
I’m not really sure what crawled up his a** to bring this out. I didn’t say anything bc I won’t give people the reaction they want but I will end a “friendship” with people who talk like this. I’m not over reacting if I cut him off cold turkey without saying a word am I?

2023.06.11 00:11 Lordofthe305 CPWA Deception
| The show opens with a moment of silence and a ten-bell salute for The late Iron Sheik. The Iron Sheik 1942-2023 https://preview.redd.it/g1ebnfn9y75b1.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0e961d66521de1670340c07a9b54037e25452a79 We open with a video package highlighting Shelton Jordan winning the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship and "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones scheming to regain the gold. We then see highlights of Keith Yang's matches and the return of Logan Lemming. We are then shown highlights of the Super Junior Carnival tournament, more specifically, Rory Irvine and "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon's path to the finals. The video package ends with slowed-down clips of Keith Yang, Logan Lemming, LeJuan Jones, and Shelton Jordan, who raises the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship over his head. Sticky Fingaz's "Man Up" plays in the arena as we see pyro go off for a few seconds, followed by cheering from the crowd. Brian Kinsley: We welcome to CPWA Annihilation! We are coming to you live from Calgary, Alberta, Canada! Brian Kinsley along with Anthony Harris and Sir Samuel Stewart, we have an action-packed pay-per-view that includes six championship matches, including the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship as Shelton Jordan defends his title against Keith Yang, Logan Lemming, and "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones. Anthony Harris: Plus, we have the finals of the Super Junior Carnival tournament. I can't wait for that to go down. Sir Samuel Stewart: It's definitely going to be a thriller of an event, and I think we may see some new champions. Brian Kinsley: Let's get right to the action. We cut to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for... Crowd: ONE FALL! Leo Arnaud's "Bulger's Dream" plays in the arena Announcer: Introducing first, representing The Olympians, the team of Chip Day, Miles Orozco, and Devon Gatlin-Tyson. Brian Kinsley: Devon Gatlin-Tyson looked like a would-be favorite to win the Super Junior Carnival tournament, but came up short against "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon in the semifinals. Anthony Harris: Give Chip Day and Miles Orozco credit for helping DGT with those victories up to that point. I still believe he's going to be CPWA Cruiserweight Champion one day. 80s Synth Track Nightscapes plays in the arena. Announcer: And their opponents, introducing first, from Los Angeles, the team of Mark Starr and Ricky Vice, StarrVice! Brian Kinsley: Mark Starr and Ricky Vice competed in the Super Junior Carnival tournament, but it would be Ricky Vice who would face Devon Gatlin-Tyson in the quarterfinals and would lose thanks to the interference of the aforementioned Chip Day and Miles Orozco. Sir Samuel Stewart: It really hurt Ricky's chances, but he wasn't the only one affected by The Olympians' number game. M.O.P.'s "Fly N***a Hill F***a" plays in the arena. Announcer: Their tag team partner, from Brooklyn, New York, he is one-half of the CPWA Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions, "The Hi-Fli Kid," Jerome Evans. Brian Kinsley: "The Hi-Fli Kid" took on Devon Gatlin-Tyson in the first round of the Super Junior Carnival tournament and while it was a tremendous match, it would be soured by the interference of Day and Orozco. Anthony Harris: Best believe all three competitors want some payback on Chip, Orozco, and DGT. Don't get it twisted, however, StarrVice may be teaming up with "The Hi-Fli Kid," but they also got their eyes on regaining the CPWA Cruiserweight Tag Team Championships. Match 1: The Olympians (Chip Day, Miles Orozco, and Devon Gatlin-Tyson) vs. StarrVice (Mark Starr and Ricky Vice) and "The Hi-Fli Kid" Jerome Evans You would think that an opening match like this one would get the crowd hyped for the rest of the event, but it felt underwhelming at times. While the story here was StarrVice and "The Hi-Fli Kid" looking to get a measure of revenge on Chip Day and Miles Orozco, neither competitor was looking sharp in the ring. Devon Gatlin-Tyson carried much of the match for his team, which was the only highlight for the Olympians. The action then became a spotfest, leading toward the end of the match, where DGT nailed Mark Starr with a Split-Second DDT to get the win for his team. 2 out of 5 stars. We cut to backstage and we see Kevin Meyers interviewing CPWA World Heavyweight Champion Shelton Jordan. Shelton says that he's tired of LeJuan Jones's mind games and wants to put him away for good. He also says that he welcomes a challenge from Logan Lemming and Keith Yang, both of whom he will also defeat tonight. We return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the CPWA Television Championship. Nu Breed's "Florida" plays in the arena Announcer: Introducing first, accompanied by his alligator Sunshine, from the Sunshine State, he is the CPWA Television Champion, "Florida Man" Gary Strange Brian Kinsley: The last time "Florida Man" Gary Strange held an open challenge for the CPWA Television Championship, he lost to The Mortician. Sir Samuel Stewart: Only for him to regain it back a few days ago on Octane. Anthony Harris: No thanks to Pretty Boy, who will defend the CPWA Hardcore Championship against The Mortician later on tonight. Gary Strange enters the ring and takes the mic as Nu Breed's "Florida" stops playing. Gary Strange: Well well well, Florida Man holds CPWA gold once again and looking to take on any challengers brave enough to challenge me. Come on, don't be shy. I'm ready for ya. Yoshida Brothers' "Storm" plays in the arena. Announcer: Introducing first, from Kagoshima, Japan, he is Kenshiro Ishii. Brian Kinsley: We haven't seen Kenshiro Ishii since High$takes and he looks more than ready to bring the fight. Anthony Harris: Brotha looks jacked and he knows he means business. Tego Calderon's "Mil Cosas" plays in the arena Announcer: Finally, from San Juan, Puerto Rico, he is Ramon Vega! Brian Kinsley: The last time we saw Ramon Vega, was back in January when he was teaming up with his brother Raymundo. Sir Samuel Stewart: He took some time off to compete in his native Puerto Rico, but now he's back and looking to win some gold. Match 2: CPWA Television Championship: "Florida Man" Gary Strange vs. Kenshiro Ishii vs. Ramon Vega A solid yet rough-around-the-edges kind of match. There was lots of brawling from all three competitors, along with some technical wrestling from Ramon. It looked like Ramon Vega was close to winning the CPWA Television Championship, but "Florida Man" managed to prevent the three count from occurring. Gary Strange continued fighting back, leading to him hitting a WTF (Welcome To Florida) on Vega to get the three count and to retain the CPWA Television Championship. 3 out of 5 stars We cut to the locker room area and we see "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones discussing strategy with Brother Julius about how to deal with Shelton Jordan, Keith Yang, and possibly Logan Lemming. Brother Julius tells LeJuan to focus more on his match and that he will deal with the other competitors tonight. LeJuan nods and Brother Julius sets out to put his plans in motion. We return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 25-minute time limit. Johann Sebastian Bach's Air on G String plays in the arena. Announcer: Introducing first, from the posh hills of the Hamptons, she is Priscilla Pierce. Brian Kinsley: Priscilla Pierce won big a few days ago on Octane in tag team action with help from "The Dominican She-Devil," Ivy Fernandez. Sir Samuel Stewart: Priscilla Pierce looks to be on the fast track to challenging for the CPWA Women's International Championship. DaniLeigh Ft. Fivio Foreign "Dominican Mami" plays in the arena. Announcer: And her tag team partner, from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, she is "The Dominican She-Devil" Ivy Fernandez Brian Kinsley: "The Dominican She-Devil" may have won gold in Puerto Rico, but word has it that she may challenge for the CPWA Women's Championship. Sir Samuel Stewart: It could be a possibility, but let's see what happens. GACKT's "Redemption" plays in the arena Announcer: Introducing first, from Osaka, Japan, she is the CPWA Women's International Champion, Shiori Yoshimura. Brian Kinsley: Shiori Yoshimura gained a victory over Priscilla Pierce two weeks ago on Octane, but lost in tag team action a few days ago. She's looking to get a measure of revenge. Anthony Harris: Shiori's going to be a fighting champion for CPWA, and I know she's got to be fuming after that loss. Estrada de Estrela plays in the arena Announcer: Her tag team partner, from Sao Paulo, Brazil, she is the CPWA Women's Champion, Cristina Moreira. Brian Kinsley: Cristina Moreira has been kept busy ever since winning the CPWA Women's Championship. She's been on a media whirlwind in her native Brazil, promoting CPWA. Anthony Harris: I would love to do a show in Brazil. To all our Brazilian fans out there, CPWA sees you! Match 3: Shiori Yoshimura and Cristina Moreira vs. Priscilla Pierce and "The Dominican She-Devil" Ivy Fernandez Another solid match that saw some technical wrestling on display. While Cristina, Priscilla, and "The Dominican She-Devil" appear to be improving with their technical wrestling skills, Shiori was leagues ahead of them. Shiori controlled much of the match, even going as far as to utilize some power attacks. The match ended with Shiori hitting a Spinning Bison Bomb on Priscilla to get the win. 3 out of 5 stars. We cut to backstage and we see Kimberly Reynolds interviewing Rory Irvine. Rory says that nobody believed in him when he decided to enter the Super Junior Carnival tournament and that he could go all the way. Rory says that he's made believers out of those who have followed his journey through the tournament and knows that he is going to become the inaugural Super Junior Carnival Tournament winner and challenge for the CPWA Cruiserweight Championship. We return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 25-minute time limit. Blood Brothers' "Replica" plays in the arena Announcer: Introducing first, representing The Commonwealth, the team of Owen Benoit-Jericho and the CPWA Cruiserweight Champion Kelly Lawton! Brian Kinsley: Both Owen Benoit-Jericho and Kelly Lawton entered the Super Junior Carnival tournament and while OBJ managed to go further than Lawton, neither one was able to reach the grand finals. Sir Samuel Stewart: I know Kelly Lawton has to be feeling some of type way about that loss. Let's hope he can redeem himself should Rory Irvine win the whole thing. Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" plays in the arena. Announcer: And their opponents, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the team of Steve and Adam, the Odenkirks! Brian Kinsley: Much like OBJ and Lawton, Steve and Adam Odenkirk also competed in the Super Junior Carnival tournament. Steve managed to reach the quarterfinals, while younger brother Adam lost in the first round. Anthony Harris: The Odenkirk brothers look like they got something to prove and they're not looking to hold back anything. Match 4: The Commonwealth (Kelly Lawton and Owen Benoit-Jericho) vs. The Odenkirks (Steve and Adam Odenkirk) A solid tag team match that had a little something of everything: Technical wrestling, brawling, MMA, and high-flying. It was an evenly fought match until the Commonwealth uses underhanded tactics to keep the advantage in their favor, isolating Adam from Steve. Anytime Adam would tag in Steve, the referee did not see it. Eventually, Steve got the tag and was a house of fire, knocking down Lawton and OBJ. Steve looked to have the match won with a 450 Splash but "The Iron Maiden" Mary Addams interfered on behalf of the Commonwealth, pushing Steve off the top rope. This allowed Lawton to hit the Outback Cutter on Steve to get the win for his team. 4 out of 5 stars. We get a one-minute video package hyping up Pretty Boy and his path of destruction. The hype package ends and we return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the CPWA Hardcore Championship. An organ cover to Runaway Casket plays in the arena. Announcer: Introducing first, from Resting Peace Funeral Home, he is The Mortician! Brian Kinsley: The Mortician lost the CPWA Television Championship, thanks to Pretty Boy, who maniacally beat the living daylights out of him. Sir Samuel Stewart: The Mortician knows what it takes to win the CPWA Hardcore Championship, but against Pretty Boy, I don't know. The arena lights go out and we hear an ominous female voice. Ominous Female Voice: Pretty Boy...oh Pretty Boy...punish...them...all! Glitter Wasteland's "Cold War (Nightcrawler Remix)" plays in the arena as blue and red lighting fill the arena. Announcer: And his opponent, he is the CPWA Hardcore Champion Pretty Boy! Brian Kinsley: Pretty Boy has been on a rampage since winning the CPWA Hardcore Championship, and it doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon. Anthony Harris: That man is cold-hearted. I don't think I've ever seen him blink once. Match 5: CPWA Hardcore Championship: Pretty Boy (c) vs. The Mortician If you wanted a balls-to-the-wall, knock-down, drag-out hardcore match, this one was it! The Mortician and Pretty Boy wasted no time beating the living hell out of each other, but Pretty Boy gained the upper hand. Pretty Boy threw the Mortician around like a rag doll at times, followed by beating him with clotheslines and rainmakers. The Mortician started to fight back, using steel chairs, lead pipes, and even the ring bell on Pretty Boy. The Mortician looked to have made some dents in Pretty Boy, causing him to bleed, but it only made Pretty Boy aggressive as he battered the Mortician, leading to a chokeslam and Tombstone Piledriver for the win. 4 out of 5 stars. After the match, Pretty Boy continued beating the Mortician. Suddenly, Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" (Elliot Loud version) plays in the arena Brian Kinsley: IT'S MANGOD!!! Mangod rushed the ring and started beating up Pretty Boy, causing him to flee. Mangod then headbutts the turnbuckles as the crowd cheers wildly. Mangod helps the Mortician to his feet, raising his hand to the crowd's approval. ***Intermission*** We cut back from intermission and we see Brother Julius walking down a hallway. He stops when Monroe Storm approaches him. Monroe tells Brother Julius that Logan Lemming has his sights on the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship as well and will stop at nothing to get it. Brother Julius warns Monroe that Logan better not cross "The Number One Pick" or he knows what's good for him. Monroe scoffs and walks away. Brother Julius shakes his head and does the same. we return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the CPWA International Championship. The Wellerman plays in the arena Announcer: Introducing first, representing The Commonwealth, from Auckland, New Zealand, Jason Black Brian Kinsley: We haven't seen Jason Black in a long time, and that's because he's been touring between Japan and his native New Zealand. Sir Samuel Stewart: The Kiwi looks like he's poised to bring home some gold to The Commonwealth. The March of Death theme plays in the arena. Announcer: Next, from Guadalajara, Mexico, this is El Colibri Brian Kinsley: El Colibri was one of the favorites to win the Super Junior Carnival, but it wasn't meant to be as he lost in the first round to "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon. Anthony Harris: It was quite a shock, but let's see if he can rebound and get back to his winning ways. Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth's "The Creator" plays in the arena. Announcer: Finally, from Miami, Florida, he is the CPWA International Champion, Deron "Ron" Jordan. Brian Kinsley: Deron "Ron" Jordan has been helping his brothers in their feud against "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones, but here, he's looking to defend his CPWA International Championship. Anthony Harris: Let's hope he can retain it to keep more gold in the family. Match 6: CPWA International Championship: Deron "Ron" Jordan (c) vs. Jason Black vs. El Colibri This match wasn't good, but it certainly wasn't bad either. It was all over the place at times as there were some brawling mixed with some high-flying from Ron and El Colibri. Jason Black had control of the match, beating down El Colibri, but Ron prevented any chance of a three-count from happening. Both Ron and El Colibri double-teamed Jason Black, but they would turn their attention to attacking each other. El Colibri had Ron in the La Mistica, but Jason Black broke the hold. With Ron out of the way, this allowed Jason to hit the Blackout on El Colibri for the win and become the new CPWA International Champion. 2 out of 5 stars. We get a one-minute video package hyping up The Hart Sisters (Crystal and Tracy) and their dominance over the Women's Tag Team Division. The hype package ends and we return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the CPWA Women's Tag Team Championships. "Hitman" plays in the arena Announcer: And their opponents, from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, they are the team of Crystal and Tracy, the Hart Sisters. Brian Kinsley: We are in Canada, and the Hart Sisters are getting a huge ovation. Sir Samuel Stewart: The Hart Sisters look to win big here tonight, and I have a feeling that they will. Eminem's "Venom" plays in the arena. Announcer: And their opponents, they are the CPWA Women's Tag Team Champions, Carnage Ayano and La Venena. Brian Kinsley: Carnage Ayano and La Venena are a dangerous combination of Japanese Strong Style wrestling and Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling. Anthony Harris: These ladies are psychotic in the ring. I've seen their matches in Japan and Mexico, so I know what they can do. Match 7: CPWA Women's Tag Team Championship: La Venena and Carnage Ayano (c) vs. The Hart Sisters (Crystal and Tracy) A somewhat decent match that had some great moments but at times, it was a botchfest, which was unusual for both teams. The Hart Sisters had control of the match, but Venena and Ayano started making a comeback. Crystal Hart managed to win the match for her team, placing Ayano in a sharpshooter to give her team victory and regain the CPWA Women's Tag Team Championship. 2 out of 5 stars. We cut to backstage and we see Kevin Meyers interviewing Keith Yang on his title match. Keith says that he hopes that the third time is the charm and that he will become the new CPWA World Heavyweight Champion. We return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the CPWA Tag Team Championship. GACKT's "Redemption" plays in the arena Announcer: Introducing first, from Osaka, Japan, the team of Ryota and Daigo Yoshimura Blake Shelton's "Good Ole Boys" plays in the arena. Announcer: Next, from the great state of Tennessee, Roy and Zechariah, the Newton Boys. Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" plays in the arena. Announcer: Finally, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, they are the CPWA Tag Team Champions, William and Jake, the Odenkirks! Match 8: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match for the CPWA Tag Team Championship: The Odenkirks (William and Jake) (c) vs. Ryota and Daigo Yoshimura vs. The Newton Boys (Roy and Zechariah) This was a chaotic match with tons of high spots and lots of brawling. At one point in the match, Jake Odenkirk and Zechariah Newton climbed atop the ladder and beat each other with forearms and fists, leading to both men crashing through a table. This was followed up by a 450 Frog Splash combo from Daigo Yoshimura. Roy Newton saw an opportunity to reach for the gold, only for Ryota Yoshimura to powerbomb him off the ladder and onto some chairs. Unbeknownst to Ryota, William climbed atop the ladder and retrieved the CPWA Tag Team Championships. 2 out of 5 stars. We get a three-minute hype package about the Super Junior Carnival tournament, along with highlights featuring Rory Irvine and "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon. The hype package ends with clips of Rory Irvine and Han Sang-Hoon staring at each other. We cut back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is the grand finals of the CPWA Super Junior Carnival Tournament. The O'Reillys and Paddyhats' "Barrels of Whiskey" plays in the arena. Announcer: Introducing first, from Dublin, Ireland, he is Rory Irvine. Brian Kinsley: If you were to tell anyone that a young, plucky, yet scrappy wrestler from the Emerald Isle would find himself in the grand finals of the Super Junior Carnival Tournament, after going through numerous trials and battles, no one would've believed it, but here we are. Sir Samuel Stewart: Young Rory Irvine has been waiting for such an opportunity and he's going to make the best of it. Rain's "It's Raining" begins to play in the arena Announcer: And his opponent, from Seoul, South Korea, he is one half of the CPWA Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions, "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon! Brian Kinsley: "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon blazed a path of his own throughout the Super Junior Carnival Tournament, defeating the likes of El Colibri, Steve Odenkirk, and Devon Gatlin-Tyson. Could he win it all? Anthony Harris: He may, but also keep in mind that he's also CPWA Cruiserweight Tag Team Champion with "The Hi-Fli Kid" Jerome Evans. How will that all turnout? Match 9: CPWA Super Junior Carnival Tournament: Finals: Rory Irvine vs. "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon This match was the highlight of the event and the best match overall. Rory had the early advantage, but "The Korean Idol" came fighting back. Rory hit the Celtic Crucifix Drop on Han, only to get a 2 count. Rory look to put the match away but Kelly Lawton, Owen Benoit-Jericho, and Mary Addams provided distractions toward the referee and jumped Rory. Han would get himself involved, chasing off Lawton, Addams, and OBJ, only to be met with a superkick from Chip Day and Miles Orozco, plus a split-second DDT from Devon Gatlin-Tyson. "The Hi-Fli Kid" Jerome Evans, along with StarrVice rushed to the ring and fought The Olympians. It was complete chaos as everyone began fighting on the outside. Rory went for the Celtic Crucifix Drop, only for Han to reverse it into a falcon arrow, leading to the K-Pop Drop for the victory becoming the inaugural CPWA Super Junior Carnival Tournament winner. 4 out of 5 stars. After the match, Han Sang-Hoon extended his hand to Rory for a handshake. Rory accepted the handshake as both competitors celebrated together. Although Han won the tournament, the crowd cheered loudly for Rory, chanting his name. We get a four-minute hype package featuring Shelton Jordan, Keith Yang, Logan Lemming, and "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones. The hype package ends and we return back to the ring. Announcer: Our main event is scheduled for... Crowd: ONE FALL!!! Announcer: And it is for the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship. Bambu's "Chairman Mao" plays in the arena. Announcer: Introducing first, from Shanghai, China, he is Keith Yang. Brian Kinsley: IT'S YANG TIME!!! Buckshot, Skyzoo, Promise, and Sean Price's "I'm Better Than You" plays in the arena. Announcer: And their opponents, introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Brother Julius, from Columbus, Ohio, "The Number One Pick," LeJuan Jones. Motley Crue's "Shout At The Devil" plays in the arena. Announcer: His tag team partner, accompanied to the ring by Monroe Storm, from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, he is Logan Lemming. The Roots' "Do You Want More" plays in the arena. Announcer: And their opponents, introducing first, representing The Jordan family, from Miami, Florida, he is the CPWA World Heavyweight Champion, Shelton Jordan. Match 10: CPWA World Heavyweight Championship: Shelton Jordan (c) vs. Keith Yang vs. "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones vs. Logan Lemming There was lots of action going on in this fatal four-way. Everyone seemed evenly matched at first, but Logan Lemming took control of the match, suplexing anyone that got in his way. Not to be outdone, Shelton Jordan performed several Exploder Suplexes on each of his opponents. Although Keith Yang got in some offense, he would be taken out by Ivan Markov. This allowed Logan Lemming and LeJuan to double-team Shelton Jordan. It looked like the double team was working, but both competitors weren't going to allow the other to get the pin. This led to Logan and LeJuan fighting each other. Logan was about to hit LeJuan with Logan's Run, but the Soldiers of Misfortune (General Wade and Guerrilla God) prevented that from happening, saving LeJuan from any harm. The Soldiers of Misfortune double power-bombed Logan and then Shelton, leading to LeJuan to hit a Game Winner on both Logan and Shelton to get the win and regain the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship. 4 out of 5 stars. LeJuan Jones is presented with the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship as the pyro goes off and the crowd jeers and boos. LeJuan Jones and Brother Julius celebrate as Deception fades to black. 2023.06.11 00:11 knackersboll Why don't people I [M24] ask out simply say 'no' when I ask them out?
This is something that, not gonna lie, consumes me [M24] way too much. For the past three years, I must have asked out some ten girls for dates. They range from women who I've been good friends for some time to acquaintances. Bar one (an acquaintance, curiously), all of them just left me hanging in there with half answers instead of just saying a clear no. It's not that I feel entitled to an answer, I just find it puzzling. They generally like the idea and say stuff like "yeah, that would be fun!", but when it's time to actually plan stuff, they'll either drop down the "excitement", cancel the plans on the same day or just straight up not answer.
Do they just don't care about me? Do they like the attention? Are they afraid of my reaction, given all the examples we have of men who lash out when things don't go their way? I'm curious to know if any other people have the same frustrating experience as me. A direct 'no' makes me feel much more respected than this.

2023.06.11 00:10 Ok_Consideration_142 I just got an idea for a story that i think would be a little controversial
Its about this old black american man who was scientist and is really good at drawing, i havent decided for a name yet but i'm going for the placeholder name of "Joseph"
the story starts with him in his death bed surrounded by his children and grandchildren its all emotional and stuff then he dies and finds himself in heaven and gets a chance to live another life by god and he choses to be reborn in world similar to earth but a little different with his 20 year old body
but upon getting there he finds himself laying on some grass with a little girl next to him, the girl leads him to her village and then he finds out he dosent understand thier launguage, because of that and his different look some people were scared and very curious about him because they never saw someone with black skin before and eventually he gets captured by some people and put into a room and tries to communinate that hes just a human but fails
so he uses a rock to carve the face of the little girl that led him to the village and they see that hes not some kind of unknown creature with not much intelligence, he tries to teach his launguage alongside with him learning thier launguage, the people there start liking him and they let him live there, with his wisdom and education he become like a doctor there and a teacher
but after staying some years there he wants to see the outside world and because of his differenc from other people he may not be very welcome because of his differences, after some plot stuff and world building stuff he finds out about this dangerous creature with four legs with the placeholder name of "ground dragons" from the name you can guess its just a big lizard that really love to reproduce so there are many kinds of them, some dangerous and some not so dangerous, so theres a group of hunters that get registered to some ground dragon killing club or something, but killing them is a really good source of income and after joseph finds that out he tries to join but some conflict happen and stuff and he becomes a ground dragon hunter and maybe one of the best
now, since most of the story is gonna be about his differences like him being black, and american, and since i'm not black or american i feel like it may seem racist to make him seem like an animal to those people who never saw a black person before, i just want the story to be like about how humans are so quick to make something that is different as the bad thing and about this cool guy killing cool looking lizards
so, if i continue writing about this would it be problematic? if i ever happen to publish it as a book kind of unlikely but i wouldnt want it to be the reason i lose my job or something

2023.06.11 00:10 nick2go API Changes Blackout: 48hr or Indefinite Poll
We've announced that
/Haken will be going dark starting on
June 12th in protest of the controversial proposed API changes that would effectively kill third party apps while hampering moderation tools. The original plan was to only go dark for 48 hours, but we feel going dark indefinitely in protest may be more effective, given the context of the recent CEO AMA. There's a good summary of all that's going on
here if you want more information.
However, this is a big thing to just do without input from the community, so we will leave this up to a poll, attached to this post. Based on the results tomorrow evening we will announce whether or not this blackout will be limited to 48 hours or indefinite until the proposed changes are rolled back.
Apologies for the short notice.

2023.06.11 00:10 Minute-Mine-9553 47 Meters Down: Uncaged
47 Meters Down: Uncaged (2019)
The movie is about high school teens who explore an underwater cave that is occupied by a dangerous shark they are unaware of. The cave collapses and blocks their exit and the teens are tasked with trying to get out alive— they have to fight a battle between a shark, oxygen supply, and all around the dangers of the ocean .
So I don’t know the general consensus on this movie but me personally it’s like one of my favorite all time thrillers (more specifically shark movie). I don’t get scared easily and this movie left my hands shaking I felt like i was 13 again it was crazy. I love this movie it’s so good. You could call the jumpscares cheesy but the shark design and them in general still got me everytime even though I knew it was coming. There was a specific jumpscare early in the movie that got me GOOD but I won’t go into detail. All around this movie is great so if you have a big fear of sharks (in movies, i know sharks in real life are like puppies if not angered) and the deep ocean with a tad of claustrophobia this movie is PERFECT for you. Love this movie please check it out if you get the chance :)

2023.06.11 00:09 TerribleInvite Worried my wife is drinking too much alcohol?
Wife is 42, 103kg, 5 foot 5, with PCOS. Drinking has been going on for a few months now
I (M39) have been with my wife (F42) over 15 years (Married for the last 2)
The relationship has been ok (our sex life could be a little better) but I've noticed over the past few months that she has started to drink more.
She's always drank but I've been teetotal for the last 6 years when I made a conscious effort to get fitter. In the process I lost over 1 and a half stone and am now in the best shape of my life.
I was never a big drinker in the first place so I don't know what is a little bit more than average or a lot more than average. This is what she has drank over the last two weeks:
- 26th May - Friday - 2 and a half large glasses of white wine
- 27th - Saturday - 2 large glasses of white wine
- 28th - Sunday - 1 glass of red wine
- 29th - Monday - Gin and Tonic + 2 glasses of wine
- 30th - Tuesday - Glass of red wine
- 31st Wednesday - Glass of red wine
- 2nd June - Friday - Big glass of red wine/large glass of white wine
- 3rd - Saturday - One and a half bottles of white wine
- 4th - Sunday - 2 large glasses of wine
- 3rd-7th she was sick with a cold
- 8th June - Her birthday (a cravat of white wine + regular glass of white wine)
- 9th June Bottle of white wine
- 10th June - Martini in a can cocktail and a bottle of white wine
This seems a little over the average, no?
I want to bring this up with her but scared on how to approach it. She has PCOS (which she doesn't treat) and is overweight (103kg) and I'm worried this drinking is just going to make things worse for her health wise down the road. Whenever I've mentioned her drinking in passing (like making a joke) she has got rather defensive.
Am I being unreasonable?

2023.06.11 00:09 Slacker_87 I Totally Have A Son And His Deck is Totally a 7
Greetings fellow Magic: the Gathering enjoyers, you'll never believe this.
As I was trekking through the American desert, no wares to my name except the shirt on my back and of course my 7/10 casual EDH deck. Oh right, I forgot, I also had a child, a 12 year old, who's quite timid and well mannered, and is also my son for I am his father. ̶M̶y̶ our throats were dry and my horse was exhausted. I thought I was done for, when gasp I saw it — an LGS! I was saved!
Now, well, you see, this particular fine establishment had three — shall we say, "tiers" — for the purposes of EDH merrriment, which are as follows: casual, mid, and competitive. I of course choose mid — well, I was playing [/[[/[[/[Kaalia of the Vast]]/]]/]] after all — no wait, it was my son, the youngster, the mild-mannered prodigy, who chose mid. I instead wisely opt for the casual group, as I'd just thrown together cards for a half-baked deck concept (it hadn't time to rise before I was to escape from Egypt). The boy, my son, the proof of my non-virginity, sits down with three other fellows. One among them turns out to be a bit of a ruffian, for he says, "AJR sucks." My son, a minor of just 12 years of age, mind you, is positively obsessed with AJR, which his clothes signify. The brute rudely continues, "they're just way too poppy." My child, a son, born to my lady and I 12 years ago, pays him no attention. However I seethe with rage at this comment, distracting me from my aforementioned matzah deck.
As the table shuffles up their decks, I hear the scoundrel utter "they shouldn't pair adults with kids. They should get their own table. Kids are stupid lmao." My son is twelve, and genuinely the most well-mannered kid there has ever been. Additionally, he's a bit timid, and as such he remains quiet. The hooligan, who quite resembles the shape and stench of an anus, has declared himself the one to take first go — wielding his Koma deck, no less, as most anuses are fond of I've found. I would know this fact of course, as my own anus favors his Koma deck on Wednesday night commander back at the homestead LGS.
"Turn one, Forest, Sol Ring, pass."
My child, offspring... I'm just going to transition to calling him D. Little D, in fact... no, that's not quite right... Big D it is then... no that isn't appropriate really... I know — mid D — mid D plays his triome and passes. The other two fellows get off to quote productive starts. Everyone is engaging in the customary undisrupted mana ramp, excepting for the troublemaker, who it seems kept a one-lander. He begrudgingly passes. Mid D drops either a Talisman or a signet, or another such 2-mana mana-rock, couldn't say which exactly I'm afraid. Turn 3, Omnath enters the fray and Bruvac mills away Mid D's ()/({})\Avacyn, Angel of Hope/()({})/ much to his dismay. He drops another rock instead of opting to play Kaalia, his commander, the general of his deck, in this format which is EDH. The anus-man hasn't drawn another land and is becoming visibly perturbed.
Turn 4, the mill player is building up quite well, Omnom is pooping out children nonstop, and yet the arse has still not drawn his land and he declares that, "This is stupid. I run 41 lands in this deck." D gets to his turn during which he got his greaves. He drops the greaves... No responses. He plays the Kaalia... No responses. He equips the Kaalia. Do... Do these people not know what Kaalia does? Attack phase it is, I guess. Mid D has one more trick up his sleeve though, and that comes in the form of a sneaky <><>uWu<>[[Master of Cruelties]]<>uWu<><>. Mid D has three choices here, all of which are effectively choices, decisions if you will, that he can choose from. The world is his oyster. Of course, he could send for the fellow who cost him his beloved Avacyn. Hell, maybe the one pooping out children? Certainly not the anus, sitting on one paltry forest and a rock that he apparently can't use, despite it being extremely powerful, and quite honestly being a card that shouldn't belong at a mid-table anyway.
Well, this story wouldn't be worth telling if he had elected to punch Bruvac in the nether region, the plums, the jewels, the pecker, the dick, even, if you will. He decided payback was on the menu today, and placed his order. He attacked the excrement-smelling nitwit and laid down his Master of Cruelties in perhaps the most passive manner imaginable, for he was quite timid. The poopyhead had begun the night by stating he reckoned he had the best deck, and was beginning to fear relegation to the Premier League. He begins by saying "you could take out one of the people who have actually attacked you and are actually a threat." This quickly transitioned to, "I haven't even gotten to start playing my deck yet. You should pick one of them instead." To, "please. Can I see if my next card is a land and if so can you choose someone else? I'll target you last." to, "this is stupid. You don't even know how to play the game, and kids are stupid. You're going to lose because of this play. Why were any of us born in the first place? Wouldn't we be better off if none of us had ever seen the light of day?"
Mid D, neither Big D nor Small D, my offspring, the product of my seed, the 12 year old, who was quite timid and well mannered, to whom I am father, the entire time, was saying, "I already declared my attacks." Afterwards, the bastard, the dault, the one who smelled like and resembled a puckered anus, exclaimed, "fine, whatever!" and started packing up his wares. Mid D replied, "It says in the Magic rulebook to be respectful to other players and I like playing by the rules. Gottem."
I don't know if it was just the humanity of it all, or the fact that it definitely really happened, or the fact that he had just gotten intellectually devastated by a child, a juvenile, who was probably only 12, but you could see this fool go through the seven stages of grief as though he'd just received news of his dear mother's death, right before your eyes over this little exchange and he immediately started stumbling backward in terror until he dramatically fell, gasped and quickly ran out.
I just think that Mid D, my son, the one who calls me daddy — besides his mother — the child, the babe, was the real winner that night... not because he won the game, but because, well, indeed, of course, you know.

2023.06.11 00:09 MajaErecson Just bought some cards, was it a good deal?
I just bought base sets of bulbasaur, charmander and squirtle. As in first edition ones, the old ones. I bought them for £7. I don't know if it was a good deal, I'm a big fan of the cards so I don't mind if it was a loss. They looked real and looked pretty decent condition. I ask because I'm curious and half hoping it was actually a hidden good deal? But my hopes aren't too high. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to this.

2023.06.11 00:09 usulwalker BITCOIN TRADING: WENT DOWN AS PREDICTED. In low border uptrendchannel. One should buy now in a dollar cost average strategy. Others will not buy if mfi and macd is going down as they are and FOD as mainstream. If BTC goes below uptrendchannel wll be a disaster but. there is a big support in 24-25000
2023.06.11 00:09 LeonJiangx What hardware do you use?
Hello there,
I'm a maker who often uses 3D printing to make electronics and robotics projects. I have a small selection of M3 machine screws (I seldom use piercing screws) and heat inserts because I find it to be a versatile size for my projects (usually not very big).
I want to build up a selection of bearings for robotics projects, but don't know where to start. Large thin wall bearings can be used in small projects, and small bearings can also be useful in large projects. There are tons of different sizes of bearings on Aliexpress, I don't know where to start. Are there some "common" bearing sizes among the maker community or does everyone just design around whatever hardware that they have? I found that 608 bearings are common on Thingiverse, maybe it's because it's used in skateboards?
What selection of hardware do you have? Do you buy hardware specifically for a project or do you make projects based on your current selection? What hardware sizes would you recommend to start with?
Any advice is appreciated, Happy making!

2023.06.11 00:09 shanster925 TIFU by bringing a spider to yoga.
This happened on Friday!
I have been going to a hot yoga class for a few months now. It's a great workout, and helps stretch out my tight muscles and terrible posture.
Because my schedule allows it, I usually go to a midday class at 10 am or 12 pm. There are fewer people so it isn't too crowded and I don't feel like such an idiot if I'm not doing things properly, etc. I live in a city pretty close to a river, and hence we get gigantic spiders around here. The front of our house in the warmer months has a rotating cluster of arachnids, varying in size and colour (none of them are venomous, as far as we know...) A common breed of spiders are these big black bastards; about the size of a loonie/silver dollar and fast. They don't bite, but they are alarming. We have seen them in the house, and they quickly get a ride outside via a piece of paper and a cup. Yesterday I went to my usual 10 am class, and I was about 5 minutes before start time so the room was already full of folks laying on their backs and meditating, so I was coming in very quietly - this is key.
I got to my spot, rolled out my mat, and one of the black devil spiders came scurrying out and started running through the room full of quiet, meditative, mostly old ladies.
I couldn't react how I should have, which would have been, "ah! What the fuck?!" and then capturing the 8-legged jerk and put him outside. Since I was in a quiet room that has the faux pas of noise, I mindfully reacted with a quiet, under my breath, "oh... Ok then."
I calmly walked out to the front desk and asked for a piece of paper and a cup, keeping an ear out for the inevitable screaming and panic as the monstrous insect crawled over someone's face. The receptionist was staring at me, so I explained that I had an 8-legged hitchhiker and needed to rescue him from either a frantic squashing, or from overheating... Unless spiders do yoga.
I got the equipment and went back in. Again, quietly and without disrupting shevasana, I went to scooch the spider to the cup. This aggressive shithead started running as soon as the paper went on the floor. Luckily, he ran toward the exit.
I opened the door, again, quietly and caught the spider in the room before taking the spider outside. The teacher was about to enter the room, so I explained what had happened, and they said, "oh, you're a good yogi then for rescuing him!"
TL;DR: A big mfer of a spider was in my yoga mat and was seconds from turning a quiet, meditative class full of older ladies into utter chaos.
Namaste.

2023.06.11 00:09 encrsrp type me post!! pls help :(
(i got tired of answering at some point and i think you can notice that, so sorry if my tone suddenly changes shsk, i didn’t answer in order so the ones written clearly more hastily are the ones i wrote after have got tired lol)
I tried to type myself multiple times but i always reconsider it… so i’ll try to answer the questions and drop some test results i got :) + english isn’t my native language so im sorry for eventual mistakes in my writing!!
• How old are you? What's your gender? Give us a general description of yourself.
I’m 21 and i’m a female (trying to better understand if a feel comfortable identifying myself as genderfluid/bigender), i’m neurodivergent (adhd+autism+giftedness) and that has often made difficult to type myself. I’m really energetic and i like doing stuff, in the meaning that i hate stay sitting still and i always need stimuli both it is mental or physical. Even when i am w others, i need to do things w them, not just talk about things, unless we talk about smth i really like (which are usually relate to things I’ve to explain somehow) , but still i prefer do it while doing smth like drawing or walking. ‘Bout that I can say I really like doing activities w people especially when I am in charge, meaning that I like to decide what to do and so I usually prefer the company of ppl who are more kinda followers (but I won’t, for eg, chose an activity if I know the person I’m with doesn’t like it or doesn’t wanna do it, I’d probably try to convince them somehow - I also could be manipulative sometimes- but I’d still respect their decision at the end, I could be upset by that tho, it depends on how much I wanted to do that activity and the reason behind the “no”, but I’d not show it and try to be the more comprensive I can be, it really depends on the situation and the person tho. Also if it can counts to better understand my type, I didn’t like this question lol, bc its so general “general description of yourself”, in which sense help, what is ‘general’ abt a person to you, I’d end up writing everything just in this answer (that’s why I’m gonna stop myself here btw).
• Is there a medical diagnosis that may impact your mental stability somehow? A part for being neurodivergent i struggled in my teen years with some ‘issues’ and even if i’ve never had a diagnosis (except for an ed’s one) i’m pretty sure i went through some pathological behaviour (therapists have mentioned histrionic behaviour at first and then covert narcissistic one), now i’m feeling so much better but i think that period had a big impact on my personality and behaviour causing me to be more insecure abt other opinions (which wasn’t a real worry before, not that much) and to be afraid of being a bad person or coming back to the person i was at the time.
• Describe your upbringing. Did it have any kind of religious or structured influence? How did you respond to it? I grew up basically by myself, considering that my parents have always been very neglective and distant to me and my needs, they’ve always done the minimum til i became able to do thing on my own (eg. they cooked for me til i went grown enough to do it by myself - i was 12 - and never done that again), so i’ve always been really independent and this helped me being really open-minded but also made me difficult to develope opinions/judgment, cause i haven’t had any type of influence, i started to cope this by reading and attach to fictional characters, that are still now the ones who help me grow a more coherent personality ig, if it makes sense, also by analysing their psychology as i said and understand them i’m able to explain what i think and also better understand myself and others. Basically I could say I’m very opinionated, but especially now that I fear being offensive/bad person, I tend to keep all to myself also bc I’m scared of seem incoherent since if I hear or read different perspectives abt smth which I’ve already an opinion of I can completely change my view, even if I would’ve defend that opinion w my life, which makes me feel so ashamed somehow either bc even if I hide it I hate losing arguments or being wrong in general (if this happens during an argument - I can’t help but would do anything to win it-) and bc as I said I don’t wanna ppl say /think I’m incoherent or whatever.
• What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not? I work in a supermarket atm and my occupation is to supply the markets shelves with products, i really like it cause it keeps me active and also i have to organise things, which i love (much more if it’s a practical type of organisation, I like organise and categorise objects, things I can see and touch, not ideas, If I have to deal w them I need to write them down or visualise them somehow to have the same satisfaction). Tho, in september i’ll start a performative arts academy (singing, acting and dancing), performative arts are one of the things i love more in the world, i never get bored while practicing them (i HATE boredom). Here I think it’s worth to say that my favourite type of dance is ballet bc I have to keep my body in control, it’s impossible to explain how good I feel when I do that, pay attention to every part of my body and feel the sensation of control. + I think it’s also important to say that i usually learn by seeing, in general i prefer seeing videos ora images, or even better doing what i’m learning, but i noticed that if i just watch someone dance (for eg) w/out thinking to much about it or focus to much, it’s like my brain registers it and then it’s able to do it three thousand time better then if i would’ve tried to get every particular and overthink abt everything i have to do. While abt acting i feel really comfortable in fakes emotions or situations, i feel A LOT but i don’t like to talk abt my feelings in general ig ?? I tend to bottle everything up, especially negatives emotions and never show them, but when im acting it’s a total different things (maybe bc i know they’re not my own feelings yk, and even if i relate ppl don’t know i relate lol), in this way im also really good at manipulate my own brain in believe what i have to feel and how to act, i’m so good at being manipulative -either w myself and others- even if i try to not do so w ppl (some times i just cant help it tho -I understand when it’s to much and I’ll never doit if i know it can harm in any way), when i was little i used to do it more.
• If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed? I don’t mind being alone, but i surely prefer company, even if we’ve to stay in silence i prefer someone w me, i only like being alone when i need to do smth that need my completely focus (like working ,study etc -when I’m really focused none should dare interrupt me fr). But in general i really feel refreshed and full of life after have spent time w ppl I care of or have done activities in general. Spend to much time alone w/out doing nothing has me kinda depressed and i always need to start doing smth after a while.
• What kinds of activities do you prefer? Do you like, and are you good at sports? Do you enjoy any other outdoor or indoor activities? As i said i love dancing and acting, i like sports (skii and tennis especially), when i was little i used to avoid them tho cause i was afraid to not be able to play well and being made fun of, also I’m very competitive and even if i hide the frustration of losing, it’s really smth that give me nuts. I also love crosswords and sudoku, resolve maths and logical problems or puzzle (i’m really good with problem solving btw, I love solving things and I get so mad when I can’t), board games (my favourite is twister!!), reading (more when i was little, now it depends on if i get attached to the characters) and watching tv series. I also like some videogames like Super Mario’s games or The sims (i’ve always struggled in reading instructions/doing tutorials, i tend to learn while playing since forever and that’s why i avoid games that have a lot of options and instructions) but it’s not my favourite thing, and i find pleasure in drawing and writing too.
• Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be? I think leadership really is my thing, but I’ve a past, already from childhood, made of criticism and ‘have been made fun of’ (my parents first of all) so I tend to avoid it unless I’m sure I’ll be successful and nobody will tell me anything abt my leadership. My style would probably be based on efficiency and have results that are admirable in any sense they could be, idk if its make sense, my brain is melting after writing sm lol, I’d be nice and comprensive as much as I could but depending on what happens, tempistics, etc… I could be really harsh and easily lose temper (only in certain situations tho, I’m trying to say that is an effort I’ve learn to put, to be patient, so it hasn’t always come so natural to me).
• Are you coordinated? Why do you feel as if you are or are not? Do you enjoy working with your hands in some form? Describe your activity? As I said I love doing practical things, I love use my hands and I’m really good in handmade stuff. My mom always calls to do those kinda things at home for eg. I’m really coordinated, sometimes I literally get surprised of my reflexes and how much coordinate I can be.
• Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer. I love art, may favourite types of art is the one who involve moving your whole body tho, so dance and acting like I said, bc, like, I love writing and drawing too, but they’re more of a sitting still type of art, so I surely love them but I love dancing and acting more. I like less to watch art, there are lotta paintings I like but its not this big deal, while theatres’ plays for eg are more exciting to me. (Adding that art can be literally everything not only those things but nevermind).
• What's your opinion about the past, present, and future? How do you deal with them? I don’t think a lot abt the past honestly, I’m actually a person who move on really fast (I can hold grudges in this sense but this is more abt how I feel abt certain ppl not situations). I like look at the future even if it scares me a bit, but I also love being in the present, I’m usually a person who set goal after goal but especially lately I’m enjoying more being in the present, I mean if I’ve to do a ranking it’d be: present, future, past asjsja.
• How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so? I’m really prone to help others even if sometimes it stress me out and I’ll prefer doing something else, but I do it anyway and I usually that person who try to find solutions that will work and have a result or at least touch a point. But I’m also really goos at empathise, I usually read ppl really well, so I come out as really understanding and in touch w others feelings, adding that I literally neve judge, unless i’m stressed and feel the need to take on someone (I feel guilty when it happens yes but I really can’t help it), ppl often say they feel safe came to me for help or even just vent (I recently learn that some ppl don’t wanna solutions but just need to be listened, so sometimes I just say “is there anything I can do to help you” “I’m sorry you feel this way” and stuff cause apparently otherwise it’s called toxic positivity (?? I don’t remember) and yk that fear abt being a bad person I mentioned? Right, but my thing is pretty much try to solve the problem after have listened the person I’m talking to.
• Do you need logical consistency in your life? I’ve a problem understanding the meaning of logic as a way to valuate situations or whatever mbti theory mean by that, I mean, it’s like “making sense” right? Cause every time I read abt mbti there is logic and moral and honestly I can’t tell the difference bc it literally depends by situations?? Or maybe I’m just stupid and got nothing, but what is logical consistency, bc when w talk about things relate to logic in a sense that isn’t logical-maths problems, my answer is always ‘it depends’, so I think my answer to this question is still ‘it depends’. Dunno really maybe I’m stupid but…
• How important is efficiency and productivity to you? It’s important. It just is, there isn’t a lot to explain here. I’m not always the most productive person, I’m adhd, sometimes it’s really hard to find the motivation to start doing things, but when I start them I need to be not only efficient but also the best, so obviously I need that efficiency and productivity to be really efficient and productive yk
• Do you control others, even if indirectly? How and why do you do that? I think I do both directly and indirectly, as I said I like being in control and even more I hate being controlled so… I’ve already mention manipulation, which is one of the way I use to control others ig, I think I’m not aware of other mechanisms I use to do so but I’m surely a controlling person, this was clearer when I was younger, I was a total bossy little kid, now I softened a lot, so, if I am controlling, I am in a way more healthy way, if it exists, idk it seems like I’m a monster but I swear I can be a really nice person help ashsasjah
• What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses? I’ve already touched this topic so I’m gonna be short: I learn the best by doing, so physical senses are my must, I absolutely don’t like learn by just reading lot of informations put in written words, so if I have to learn by books I’m better if there are images or schemes, video are surely more appreciated and the worst is learn by just listening to someone, w/out any other supply , like no I just can’t.
• How good are you at strategizing? Do you easily break up projects into manageable tasks? Or do you have a tendency to wing projects and improvise as you go? I’ve good strategy skills I think and I’m even more good to break up projects into manageable tasks, so yes, its smth that really comes natural to me and I really enjoying do. Sometimes it can absorb my energy honestly, I really feel that, but I love planning and find solutions. I’m not bad in wing projects and improvise tho, I think it depends on tasks??
• What are your aspirations in life, professionally and personally? I just wanna be happy, enjoy life, try lotta things ad have lotta experiences, met ppl and bound w them, sharing quality time, love and being loved, this kind of thing, I’d say I’d really love to achieve big things and be successful honestly, but what counts more it’s just living life ig (have both would be the perfection obviuosly)
• What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why? There are really a lot of questions omg, well I hate being controlled and fear lose control, I’m uncomfortable in sharing my feelings cause I hate being seen as weak or vulnerable, I can’t stand being made fun of, even if its just a joke, bc I hate the feeling of shameless I feel, I kinda need to be admired and give a good impression so when someone joke abt thing I do/say I get upset (hide it) unless I’m the first to do irony abt myself. I also hate being wrong and when ppl don’t listen to me, or when I have to repeat myself many times (I got tired of answering I’m sure it can be seen lol, it’s 11 pm here btw..)
• What do the "highs" in your life look like? I act so excited and I feel like I literally could do anything, I get so hyper motivated that I could accomplish all the thing I planned to accomplish and even more in a day.
• What do the "lows" in your life look like? The opposite, I feel unmotivated and could stay at bed all the day, also when I’m not at my best I tend to be really harsh on ppl close to me, like my brother for eg, I take everything on him and its like I can’t help but make him feel bad on propose sometimes (?), saying things I know will hurt him or annoy him (?), idk, I’m this honest just bc I really want to find out my real mbti, but yes when I have lows I tend to be an a**hole :((((
• How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what's around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so? I daydream but not that much at the end, I’m surely aware of my surroundings while doing so, I think I use daydream as a way to get motivated but I’m not so lost in my head when it happens.
• How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you've made it? It depends, there was a period during my teen years where I used to make a lot of impulsive decisions, now I try to think more before acting, but I still think I’m more prone to follow my gut. It’s an hard question to answer to cause its a thing that has changed often during my life. I usually can regret a decision but at the end I rarely change my mind while pondering the situation.
• Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why? Yes, almost always, the scenarios are two, or I need the conversation to end so I agree w everything just to close it asap, or it’s just me and my fear of hurt the person I’m talking to, as I mentioned when I was I child I didn’t have this problem and I used to speak my mind during conversation, but now its a hole new story, I only say what I think if we’re really close, the more close the more I speak my truth, indeed I’m the most direct person ever whit my parents and brother.
• Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why? I don’t break rules rules, but when we talk about social norms or way to do things at work etc… I usually find my own way to do them, even when my boss or more high level colleagues tell me tips, or explain how they’ve always done a particular tasks, I find more efficient ways so I can low-key also demonstrate I was right and able to do thing on my own. I don’t directly challenge authorities buy I often find myself thinking they could do better.
ty btw :))

2023.06.11 00:09 SpookyScaryCoochie I 20F feel like I’m accidentally cheating on my friend 22M and my “boyfriend” 23M
I think I’m a cheater but not willingly
Hello, this is my first Reddit and I need really good advice for my situation and I honestly don’t know where to start. I’m going to be using all fake names for this because I feel like the people in this story will somehow connect this situation to me and I’m not good with confrontation.
Anyways, I’m 20yrs F and I am currently and a relationship. I’ve met my boyfriend at work and we’ve talked for a few months before my birthday so when he ask me out I’ve never forgot our anniversary which is coming soon. We could just call him James (23M). James and I have been dating for less than a year but we started off so strong and we know each other so we’ll that it feels like we have already been in a relationship for years. At the time he was living close with his family for family reasons, going to college, and searching for a solid career. I was doing my regular 9-5 type shift so but the other only time I could hang out with him was on the weekends. Unfortunately, he was always busy in the weekends. He would hang out with friends, travel, do family business and gym boy stuff. No matter how much I try to contact him he would either never answer my call or reply to my text. After the first few months of talking he kinda ghosted me but we’re in a relationship. In our span of a year relationship he’s been radio silent for like 9 months out of 12 but every time we start talking again (on his time) we’ve always connected. One night he called me and I thought maybe if I get a personal workout trainer I could workout with my boyfriend and do gym relationship things, but when I suggest getting a trainer her kinda told me I was worthless and a waste of air. He knows I’m self recovering from depression so heading this from not only myself but from a significant other kinda broke me. After that conversation we went radio silent again, and at that point I thought we broke up due to the fact that we never talked and he would always suggest being friends again. So with that being said I grieved and moved on from the relationship. Since I’ve spent less time worrying and thinking about James, I’ve been playing hella video games. I’ve met so many people and I mean SO many people but I kinda got attached to one. We’re gonna call him Tommy (22M). Tommy is the complete opposite of James, he’s sweet to everyone, caring, extremely smart and mentally healthy. I’ve heard surrounding myself around positivity would help me recover depression so I latched on to him pretty quick. At first we were genuinely talking as friends and there was no sign of a relationship, which I liked. But one day we were flirting then that kinda escalated. I’m not gonna get too detailed about that. Recently he told me that he liked me and I get special treatment. Only flaw about Tommy is that he lives in a completely different state. I’ve never done LDR but he has and I have no problem with trusting but he slightly does due to past relationships. I’m planning on visiting him and meeting him in person but here’s where the catch comes in and I feel like an asshole. I’ve devoted my life to being nothing but loyal to my S/O even after break up I’ve promised myself to not bring any toxic trait to my next relationship from my past. James was my first, so I recovered well moving on to Tommy but not so long ago James called me again. We talked for a little bit and I thought we were friends again, but he offered me a ride from work to home so I accepted because y’know catch up time. While we were in the car he played a few romance songs and even sang some to me which was awkward since we haven’t spoken for months. Then we started deep talking. Not only did he graduate from college and I wasn’t invited to the graduation BUT apparently his parent moved back to they’re country and his brother unfortunately offer himself. I’ve never been able to meet his family and he’s always kept me a secret due to the fact that I’m a disappointment to them so it kinda hurt me to know that I never got to even get to know they’re name before moving. I knew about his brother but never got to meet him either so hearing that he’s gone kinda hurt me too. James pretty much told me those were the reasons he ghosted me and honestly it’s understanding, right? The problem is though is that he still thinks we’re in a relationship, which means I’m in a relationship. I’ve been wanting to breakup with him normally a while ago but by just straight up saying “we should see other people” but I thought it was obvious. At the end of the convo he talks about how he wants around 8 kids at his age with me. I’m only 20 and I’ve barely figured out my life so I straight up told him I’m not ready for kids and I don’t even like the little shits for as I’m apart of FTK community. He left by basically saying oh well and went home. How was I supposed to break up with James then though, after saying he basically lost everyone and I’m the only one he has put a lot of pressure on me. At the same time though I really like Tommy and I don’t want to hurt him by having him finding out I’m in a relationship from a random phone call. Or like vice versa. I don’t want to hurt either of them I have a big heart so I genuinely do care for both of their feelings but I feel like a dirty cheater and I don’t know what to do. I need help and really good advice. This situation really fucks with me which is why this might post might be scattered so I will try answering every question you have for me. Please help.

2023.06.11 00:09 Dovesssss What do I need to do to look good
| Im 6’1 and some change, I weight 165 in the morning and I’m around 20% bf. How long will it take for me to be 6’1 and 180lbs 10% bf, because that seems ideal for me as a natty. I really just want to have big shoulders, very well developed chest, and visible abs. I’m thinking around one year of dedicated commitment considering I was a 140lb 20% body fat string bean last year with a bench pr at 80lbs. I’m now 165lbs with a bench pr of 175 submitted by Dovesssss to GregDoucette [link] [comments] |
2023.06.11 00:08 playerinfinity707 What was your experience in making a video that critiques negatively about a topic?
Big YouTubers are often able to get away with expressing their own opinions. However, I noticed that I have not made a single video discussing something in a negative way- say, because I did not like it. However, due to my current video , this made me wonder.
That's why I wish to ask you guys who have already made or continuously make videos critiquing certain things. What is the reaction of your audience? Does it have any effect on the video?

2023.06.11 00:08 alexfrankone 4 Reasons Why I Am No Longer A College Football Fan (Essay)
1. Teams are joining “better” conferences not necessarily because it’s better for the student-athletes, but for media exposure and more money.
-USC and UCLA are joining the Big Ten. In my opinion, this makes no sense. It’s not better for the student athletes in terms of familiarity by being unable to play schools within a few hours of them by a bus ride. The athletes have to spend extra hours on a plane for all of their away games that could be spent studying or resting, and will have to play in a time zone that is at least two or three hours ahead of them while being at least 1,000 miles away from their school. Texas and Oklahoma are joining the SEC. In my opinion, it is not as outrageous as the USC & UCLA situation because the SEC schools are closer in distance to those schools, but those schools are also joining the best college football conference mostly for the money and media exposure. And more schools do want to follow in their footsteps- there are rumors that California and Arizona want to join the Big 12 from Pac-12, as well as seven ACC schools looking to cancel their media contract with ESPN, which runs through 2035-36. The Pac-12, Big 12 and ACC could likely dissolve.
2. College athletes are getting the perks of being a professional athlete through NIL (Name, Image, Likeness). This means that college athletes are now allowed to endorse products for a profit.
-The perks of being a professional athlete are earned- by proving you can compete with the best by performing at the highest level. Only 1,696 people every year can have the perks of being a professional football player- and every single one has earned it through their talent. Choosing where to attend college is a big decision that should not be taken lightly for any high school senior. When they’re presented with an opportunity to make millions at a college, they will be easily swayed by the financial distractions rather than what is best for them. High school senior football players will now choose colleges based on where they can get the most money and media attention, rather than where they can get the best education and what colleges are good for their major or career path. This is in case that dream of playing the NFL doesn’t work out. And realistically, the dream will most likely not work out, so it’s best to have a Plan B in case Plan A fails.
3. College football players are now being treated like NFL players by the NCAA. There is a HUGE difference between what's expected as a STUDENT compared to being an EMPLOYEE, since they are as different as night and day.
-Talent- The NFL is completely different than college football in almost every way- because every NFL roster consists of those in the top 0.1% of American football players on Earth, while NCAA Division 1 football consists of the top 2.9% of high school American football players. These men are between the ages of 22 and 40. In college, the men are between the ages of 18 and 23.
-Playbooks/Schemes- College playbooks are usually curated to fit the needs of their Heisman-caliber quarterback or running back. In the NFL, playbooks and schemes require a greater time studying the playbook as well as film. In the NFL, having a star quarterback or running back isn’t enough to make a team nationally recognized- there needs to be talent from all 11 players, offense, and defense. Plus, there are always new schemes being installed in playbooks- and they are usually complex, so you will most likely be doing something wrong, even when you think you know what you’re doing.
-Lifestyle- Succeeding as an NFL player requires hard work and discipline on a whole different level than a college football player. One must know going in that they are getting paid millions of dollars to perform on the field. Dieting, working out, studying the playbook, avoiding posting inappropriate things on social media, maintaining a strong attitude and work ethic, and conducting yourself both on and off the field is what determines your success at the highest level. Also, the speed of the game in NFL is much faster paced than it is in college football. These players will injure you if you are not ready. And even if you are ready, you will most likely suffer a serious injury that will affect your body for the rest of your life.
-In the NFL, there is absolutely no room for silly mistakes when you have millions of fans watching you- whether fans are sitting in the stadium or on the couch at home. Fans are counting are you to make a difference to their favorite team, and if you don’t, you are not only looked down upon to your team, but the fans as well.
4. It is ruining the tradition of college football.
-There will be a 12-team playoff system in NCAA football coming within the next few years, which sounds similar to the NFL, only the NFL has 14 team playoffs and not 12.
-For about a century, college football had bowl games instead of playoffs. Sugar Bowl, Rose Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Orange Bowl- these bowl games may still exist, but will not be as exciting as they may have lower-ranked teams competing while the best teams go into the playoffs. It’s also possible that these bowl games will be no more.
-We may no longer see rivalries such as USC-Stanford, UCLA-Cal Berkeley, Texas-Texas Tech, and Oklahoma-Oklahoma State, all of which have been played almost every year since the 1930’s.
Any thoughts? Feedback would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

2023.06.11 00:08 DemiserofD Jaguar Warrior buff
Since the nerf to Eagle Warriors and other changes have recently reduced the strength of Aztecs from their previously high point, I think there's an opportunity to buff Jags to actually be decent.
The big problem with them is they are too specialized at their role. Yeah, they kill infantry pretty well, but because they're so specialized, and because there are other options that do the same thing just about as well AND do more, they're generally one of the least-used UUs in the game.
So here's my idea; what if Jaguar Warriors got +1 attack for each unit they kill? (It would have to be the killing blow.)
Now, Jags by default do 31 damage to infantry and 33 damage to eagles, so against those enemies this change would be pretty minor, but that's not where they need help, so that's fine. Where this would really come into play is against other unit types, AFTER big fights where the Jags win.
IE, say your enemy has 30 pikes and you build 10 jags to kill them. Afterwards, those +3 jags would have roughly +3 damage each, making them dramatically more powerful against units like knights!
They'd need to be babied a lot, so they don't get killed off by siege or something, but that would synergize nicely with the aztec monks.
It wouldn't be a super OP bonus, but it'd be the sort of change that could widen their niche a lot!

2023.06.11 00:08 GM_Blue Gunner Zeri Comp Guides by GM Blue
Intro
I'm GM Blue, an NA Challenger / GM player in Set 8 and 8.5. I aim to reach Rank 1 in Set 9, so I am writing this guide as much for me as it is for others.
This guide was originally recorded as a video which you can watch here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wePVRtkuogg Lolchess:
https://lolchess.gg/profile/na/gmblue Comp Overview (TL;DR)
There are two versions for Gunners: Piltover and Non-Piltover. Generally speaking, you should play the Piltover variation if you hit Piltover early and are able to have a 30+ power T-Hex by some point in Stage 4 / ideally 40+ by end of the game. That said, different people will have different opinions on exactly how strong the T-Hex should be before you consider dropping out of Piltover. If your T-Hex is strong, you'll keep Piltover the entire game.
The Piltover variation has a limited champion pool to select from, but there are many different combinations on how to fit them on your board (particularly if you are trying to fit Heimerdinger). The non-Piltover version is easier to play as you have more flexible spots to fit whatever you hit.
Early Game Units
In the early game, you should focus on picking up mainly Piltovers, Bruisers, and Gunners. Bruisers are important as they pair with Vi and you'll often end up playing 4 Bruiser in the early game as your frontline of choice.
Example Early Game Board:
https://tactics.tools/s/S7cih3 Piltover Zeri Core
- Zeri
- 3 Piltover Units of your choice (Vi, Ekko, Jayce, & Heimer)
- Minimum of 3 frontline units (4 if your T-Hex is low power)
- Fill out remaining slots with Gunners and Zaun units
Gunner Zeri Flex Units
Gunner +1's
- Tristana (get off your board ASAP)
- Jinx
- Jayce
- Senna
Piltover
- Orianna
- Vi
- Jayce
- Ekko
- Heimerdinger (very difficult to play on your board on 8, examples for why later)
Zaun +1's
Freljord
Frontliners
- Sion
- K'Sante
- Shen
- Jarvan IV
- Nasus (worst case, generally do not play)
Notes about Heimerdinger and +1 spat's
Heimerdinger is generally difficult to add on 8 for a few reasons. One is that he is an expensive unit (23g at 1-star if you want to fully upgrade his turret) and thus can eat away at your gold for upgrading Zeri and frontline units. Secondly, you have to make major sacrifices to slot him on your board. If you drop Jayce, you lose 4 Gunner. If you drop Ekko, you lose 4 Zaun. If you drop Vi, your frontline and backline become unbalanced. There ARE variations that play him, but there are many games where choosing not to play him is correct.
If you get a +1 Gunner or +1 Zaun spat, it becomes a lot easier to play Heimer on 8 as you no longer have to make those big tradeoffs of losing 4 Gunner or 4 Zaun.
Examples to Help Understand Piltover Comp
Non-Piltover version
Same idea as the Piltover version except now you have more flexible slots as you no longer need to play 3 Piltover. That means you can drop Vi for a better unit or drop out of 4 Zaun to play higher quality units. Often you'll play Freljord in the non-Piltover version, but not always. I generally think 4 Gunner with Senna is better than 4 Zaun if you have to choose one, but you can also play both in the non-Piltover version.
Itemization
As usual, I don't like to provide too many thoughts on items as it will get solved once stats are out. That said, I have found QSS and RFC as both strong / underutilized options on Zeri. QSS is excellent if you are Zeke's stacking Jayce as Jarvan / Sion often target the Jayce corner clump. RFC is excellent as it is a front loaded Rageblade that provides higher uptime. Since you are Zeke's stacking most of the time, you get a lot of AS from Jayce and don't necessarily need the full scaling of Rageblade so I generally think RFC is competitive.
Final Thoughts
This is by far the hardest comp guide I have written thus far as there are a LOT of ways to play the Piltover version. It took a lot of VoD review to see as many of these different variants in action. As of right now, 6 Zaun is very strong and it's usually worth playing even if you only have 1 spat, but that might change in the future where it only becomes lucrative with 2 spats.
I generally find the Piltover version stronger than the non-Piltover version, but you want a 40+ charge T-Hex by the end game or it isn't worth having to play Vi if you have better units to play. I'd love to hear other people's experiences for this comp as it is one of comps that has made me dizziest thus far. Also, I did not provide much insight on Zaun mods but I generally think the explosion one and Robotic arm are quite good - especially if you can Overcharge the explosion one on a Bruiser like Sion.

I am interested in installing quickshifter on my 2022 MT07 but I have two big doubts:
- I have read in several places that the quickshifter only works when upshifting, is that true or can you also downshift?
- Any quickshifter recommendations? (I live in Europe)
