| The show opens with a moment of silence and a ten-bell salute for The late Iron Sheik. The Iron Sheik 1942-2023 https://preview.redd.it/g1ebnfn9y75b1.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0e961d66521de1670340c07a9b54037e25452a79 We open with a video package highlighting Shelton Jordan winning the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship and "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones scheming to regain the gold. We then see highlights of Keith Yang's matches and the return of Logan Lemming. We are then shown highlights of the Super Junior Carnival tournament, more specifically, Rory Irvine and "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon's path to the finals. The video package ends with slowed-down clips of Keith Yang, Logan Lemming, LeJuan Jones, and Shelton Jordan, who raises the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship over his head. Sticky Fingaz's "Man Up" plays in the arena as we see pyro go off for a few seconds, followed by cheering from the crowd. Brian Kinsley: We welcome to CPWA Annihilation! We are coming to you live from Calgary, Alberta, Canada! Brian Kinsley along with Anthony Harris and Sir Samuel Stewart, we have an action-packed pay-per-view that includes six championship matches, including the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship as Shelton Jordan defends his title against Keith Yang, Logan Lemming, and "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones. Anthony Harris: Plus, we have the finals of the Super Junior Carnival tournament. I can't wait for that to go down. Sir Samuel Stewart: It's definitely going to be a thriller of an event, and I think we may see some new champions. Brian Kinsley: Let's get right to the action. We cut to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for... Crowd: ONE FALL! Leo Arnaud's "Bulger's Dream" plays in the arena Announcer: Introducing first, representing The Olympians, the team of Chip Day, Miles Orozco, and Devon Gatlin-Tyson. Brian Kinsley: Devon Gatlin-Tyson looked like a would-be favorite to win the Super Junior Carnival tournament, but came up short against "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon in the semifinals. Anthony Harris: Give Chip Day and Miles Orozco credit for helping DGT with those victories up to that point. I still believe he's going to be CPWA Cruiserweight Champion one day. 80s Synth Track Nightscapes plays in the arena. Announcer: And their opponents, introducing first, from Los Angeles, the team of Mark Starr and Ricky Vice, StarrVice! Brian Kinsley: Mark Starr and Ricky Vice competed in the Super Junior Carnival tournament, but it would be Ricky Vice who would face Devon Gatlin-Tyson in the quarterfinals and would lose thanks to the interference of the aforementioned Chip Day and Miles Orozco. Sir Samuel Stewart: It really hurt Ricky's chances, but he wasn't the only one affected by The Olympians' number game. M.O.P.'s "Fly N***a Hill F***a" plays in the arena. Announcer: Their tag team partner, from Brooklyn, New York, he is one-half of the CPWA Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions, "The Hi-Fli Kid," Jerome Evans. Brian Kinsley: "The Hi-Fli Kid" took on Devon Gatlin-Tyson in the first round of the Super Junior Carnival tournament and while it was a tremendous match, it would be soured by the interference of Day and Orozco. Anthony Harris: Best believe all three competitors want some payback on Chip, Orozco, and DGT. Don't get it twisted, however, StarrVice may be teaming up with "The Hi-Fli Kid," but they also got their eyes on regaining the CPWA Cruiserweight Tag Team Championships. Match 1: The Olympians (Chip Day, Miles Orozco, and Devon Gatlin-Tyson) vs. StarrVice (Mark Starr and Ricky Vice) and "The Hi-Fli Kid" Jerome Evans You would think that an opening match like this one would get the crowd hyped for the rest of the event, but it felt underwhelming at times. While the story here was StarrVice and "The Hi-Fli Kid" looking to get a measure of revenge on Chip Day and Miles Orozco, neither competitor was looking sharp in the ring. Devon Gatlin-Tyson carried much of the match for his team, which was the only highlight for the Olympians. The action then became a spotfest, leading toward the end of the match, where DGT nailed Mark Starr with a Split-Second DDT to get the win for his team. 2 out of 5 stars. We cut to backstage and we see Kevin Meyers interviewing CPWA World Heavyweight Champion Shelton Jordan. Shelton says that he's tired of LeJuan Jones's mind games and wants to put him away for good. He also says that he welcomes a challenge from Logan Lemming and Keith Yang, both of whom he will also defeat tonight. We return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the CPWA Television Championship. Nu Breed's "Florida" plays in the arena Announcer: Introducing first, accompanied by his alligator Sunshine, from the Sunshine State, he is the CPWA Television Champion, "Florida Man" Gary Strange Brian Kinsley: The last time "Florida Man" Gary Strange held an open challenge for the CPWA Television Championship, he lost to The Mortician. Sir Samuel Stewart: Only for him to regain it back a few days ago on Octane. Anthony Harris: No thanks to Pretty Boy, who will defend the CPWA Hardcore Championship against The Mortician later on tonight. Gary Strange enters the ring and takes the mic as Nu Breed's "Florida" stops playing. Gary Strange: Well well well, Florida Man holds CPWA gold once again and looking to take on any challengers brave enough to challenge me. Come on, don't be shy. I'm ready for ya. Yoshida Brothers' "Storm" plays in the arena. Announcer: Introducing first, from Kagoshima, Japan, he is Kenshiro Ishii. Brian Kinsley: We haven't seen Kenshiro Ishii since High$takes and he looks more than ready to bring the fight. Anthony Harris: Brotha looks jacked and he knows he means business. Tego Calderon's "Mil Cosas" plays in the arena Announcer: Finally, from San Juan, Puerto Rico, he is Ramon Vega! Brian Kinsley: The last time we saw Ramon Vega, was back in January when he was teaming up with his brother Raymundo. Sir Samuel Stewart: He took some time off to compete in his native Puerto Rico, but now he's back and looking to win some gold. Match 2: CPWA Television Championship: "Florida Man" Gary Strange vs. Kenshiro Ishii vs. Ramon Vega A solid yet rough-around-the-edges kind of match. There was lots of brawling from all three competitors, along with some technical wrestling from Ramon. It looked like Ramon Vega was close to winning the CPWA Television Championship, but "Florida Man" managed to prevent the three count from occurring. Gary Strange continued fighting back, leading to him hitting a WTF (Welcome To Florida) on Vega to get the three count and to retain the CPWA Television Championship. 3 out of 5 stars We cut to the locker room area and we see "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones discussing strategy with Brother Julius about how to deal with Shelton Jordan, Keith Yang, and possibly Logan Lemming. Brother Julius tells LeJuan to focus more on his match and that he will deal with the other competitors tonight. LeJuan nods and Brother Julius sets out to put his plans in motion. We return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 25-minute time limit. Johann Sebastian Bach's Air on G String plays in the arena. Announcer: Introducing first, from the posh hills of the Hamptons, she is Priscilla Pierce. Brian Kinsley: Priscilla Pierce won big a few days ago on Octane in tag team action with help from "The Dominican She-Devil," Ivy Fernandez. Sir Samuel Stewart: Priscilla Pierce looks to be on the fast track to challenging for the CPWA Women's International Championship. DaniLeigh Ft. Fivio Foreign "Dominican Mami" plays in the arena. Announcer: And her tag team partner, from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, she is "The Dominican She-Devil" Ivy Fernandez Brian Kinsley: "The Dominican She-Devil" may have won gold in Puerto Rico, but word has it that she may challenge for the CPWA Women's Championship. Sir Samuel Stewart: It could be a possibility, but let's see what happens. GACKT's "Redemption" plays in the arena Announcer: Introducing first, from Osaka, Japan, she is the CPWA Women's International Champion, Shiori Yoshimura. Brian Kinsley: Shiori Yoshimura gained a victory over Priscilla Pierce two weeks ago on Octane, but lost in tag team action a few days ago. She's looking to get a measure of revenge. Anthony Harris: Shiori's going to be a fighting champion for CPWA, and I know she's got to be fuming after that loss. Estrada de Estrela plays in the arena Announcer: Her tag team partner, from Sao Paulo, Brazil, she is the CPWA Women's Champion, Cristina Moreira. Brian Kinsley: Cristina Moreira has been kept busy ever since winning the CPWA Women's Championship. She's been on a media whirlwind in her native Brazil, promoting CPWA. Anthony Harris: I would love to do a show in Brazil. To all our Brazilian fans out there, CPWA sees you! Match 3: Shiori Yoshimura and Cristina Moreira vs. Priscilla Pierce and "The Dominican She-Devil" Ivy Fernandez Another solid match that saw some technical wrestling on display. While Cristina, Priscilla, and "The Dominican She-Devil" appear to be improving with their technical wrestling skills, Shiori was leagues ahead of them. Shiori controlled much of the match, even going as far as to utilize some power attacks. The match ended with Shiori hitting a Spinning Bison Bomb on Priscilla to get the win. 3 out of 5 stars. We cut to backstage and we see Kimberly Reynolds interviewing Rory Irvine. Rory says that nobody believed in him when he decided to enter the Super Junior Carnival tournament and that he could go all the way. Rory says that he's made believers out of those who have followed his journey through the tournament and knows that he is going to become the inaugural Super Junior Carnival Tournament winner and challenge for the CPWA Cruiserweight Championship. We return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 25-minute time limit. Blood Brothers' "Replica" plays in the arena Announcer: Introducing first, representing The Commonwealth, the team of Owen Benoit-Jericho and the CPWA Cruiserweight Champion Kelly Lawton! Brian Kinsley: Both Owen Benoit-Jericho and Kelly Lawton entered the Super Junior Carnival tournament and while OBJ managed to go further than Lawton, neither one was able to reach the grand finals. Sir Samuel Stewart: I know Kelly Lawton has to be feeling some of type way about that loss. Let's hope he can redeem himself should Rory Irvine win the whole thing. Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" plays in the arena. Announcer: And their opponents, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the team of Steve and Adam, the Odenkirks! Brian Kinsley: Much like OBJ and Lawton, Steve and Adam Odenkirk also competed in the Super Junior Carnival tournament. Steve managed to reach the quarterfinals, while younger brother Adam lost in the first round. Anthony Harris: The Odenkirk brothers look like they got something to prove and they're not looking to hold back anything. Match 4: The Commonwealth (Kelly Lawton and Owen Benoit-Jericho) vs. The Odenkirks (Steve and Adam Odenkirk) A solid tag team match that had a little something of everything: Technical wrestling, brawling, MMA, and high-flying. It was an evenly fought match until the Commonwealth uses underhanded tactics to keep the advantage in their favor, isolating Adam from Steve. Anytime Adam would tag in Steve, the referee did not see it. Eventually, Steve got the tag and was a house of fire, knocking down Lawton and OBJ. Steve looked to have the match won with a 450 Splash but "The Iron Maiden" Mary Addams interfered on behalf of the Commonwealth, pushing Steve off the top rope. This allowed Lawton to hit the Outback Cutter on Steve to get the win for his team. 4 out of 5 stars. We get a one-minute video package hyping up Pretty Boy and his path of destruction. The hype package ends and we return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the CPWA Hardcore Championship. An organ cover to Runaway Casket plays in the arena. Announcer: Introducing first, from Resting Peace Funeral Home, he is The Mortician! Brian Kinsley: The Mortician lost the CPWA Television Championship, thanks to Pretty Boy, who maniacally beat the living daylights out of him. Sir Samuel Stewart: The Mortician knows what it takes to win the CPWA Hardcore Championship, but against Pretty Boy, I don't know. The arena lights go out and we hear an ominous female voice. Ominous Female Voice: Pretty Boy...oh Pretty Boy...punish...them...all! Glitter Wasteland's "Cold War (Nightcrawler Remix)" plays in the arena as blue and red lighting fill the arena. Announcer: And his opponent, he is the CPWA Hardcore Champion Pretty Boy! Brian Kinsley: Pretty Boy has been on a rampage since winning the CPWA Hardcore Championship, and it doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon. Anthony Harris: That man is cold-hearted. I don't think I've ever seen him blink once. Match 5: CPWA Hardcore Championship: Pretty Boy (c) vs. The Mortician If you wanted a balls-to-the-wall, knock-down, drag-out hardcore match, this one was it! The Mortician and Pretty Boy wasted no time beating the living hell out of each other, but Pretty Boy gained the upper hand. Pretty Boy threw the Mortician around like a rag doll at times, followed by beating him with clotheslines and rainmakers. The Mortician started to fight back, using steel chairs, lead pipes, and even the ring bell on Pretty Boy. The Mortician looked to have made some dents in Pretty Boy, causing him to bleed, but it only made Pretty Boy aggressive as he battered the Mortician, leading to a chokeslam and Tombstone Piledriver for the win. 4 out of 5 stars. After the match, Pretty Boy continued beating the Mortician. Suddenly, Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" (Elliot Loud version) plays in the arena Brian Kinsley: IT'S MANGOD!!! Mangod rushed the ring and started beating up Pretty Boy, causing him to flee. Mangod then headbutts the turnbuckles as the crowd cheers wildly. Mangod helps the Mortician to his feet, raising his hand to the crowd's approval. ***Intermission*** We cut back from intermission and we see Brother Julius walking down a hallway. He stops when Monroe Storm approaches him. Monroe tells Brother Julius that Logan Lemming has his sights on the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship as well and will stop at nothing to get it. Brother Julius warns Monroe that Logan better not cross "The Number One Pick" or he knows what's good for him. Monroe scoffs and walks away. Brother Julius shakes his head and does the same. we return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the CPWA International Championship. The Wellerman plays in the arena Announcer: Introducing first, representing The Commonwealth, from Auckland, New Zealand, Jason Black Brian Kinsley: We haven't seen Jason Black in a long time, and that's because he's been touring between Japan and his native New Zealand. Sir Samuel Stewart: The Kiwi looks like he's poised to bring home some gold to The Commonwealth. The March of Death theme plays in the arena. Announcer: Next, from Guadalajara, Mexico, this is El Colibri Brian Kinsley: El Colibri was one of the favorites to win the Super Junior Carnival, but it wasn't meant to be as he lost in the first round to "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon. Anthony Harris: It was quite a shock, but let's see if he can rebound and get back to his winning ways. Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth's "The Creator" plays in the arena. Announcer: Finally, from Miami, Florida, he is the CPWA International Champion, Deron "Ron" Jordan. Brian Kinsley: Deron "Ron" Jordan has been helping his brothers in their feud against "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones, but here, he's looking to defend his CPWA International Championship. Anthony Harris: Let's hope he can retain it to keep more gold in the family. Match 6: CPWA International Championship: Deron "Ron" Jordan (c) vs. Jason Black vs. El Colibri This match wasn't good, but it certainly wasn't bad either. It was all over the place at times as there were some brawling mixed with some high-flying from Ron and El Colibri. Jason Black had control of the match, beating down El Colibri, but Ron prevented any chance of a three-count from happening. Both Ron and El Colibri double-teamed Jason Black, but they would turn their attention to attacking each other. El Colibri had Ron in the La Mistica, but Jason Black broke the hold. With Ron out of the way, this allowed Jason to hit the Blackout on El Colibri for the win and become the new CPWA International Champion. 2 out of 5 stars. We get a one-minute video package hyping up The Hart Sisters (Crystal and Tracy) and their dominance over the Women's Tag Team Division. The hype package ends and we return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the CPWA Women's Tag Team Championships. "Hitman" plays in the arena Announcer: And their opponents, from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, they are the team of Crystal and Tracy, the Hart Sisters. Brian Kinsley: We are in Canada, and the Hart Sisters are getting a huge ovation. Sir Samuel Stewart: The Hart Sisters look to win big here tonight, and I have a feeling that they will. Eminem's "Venom" plays in the arena. Announcer: And their opponents, they are the CPWA Women's Tag Team Champions, Carnage Ayano and La Venena. Brian Kinsley: Carnage Ayano and La Venena are a dangerous combination of Japanese Strong Style wrestling and Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling. Anthony Harris: These ladies are psychotic in the ring. I've seen their matches in Japan and Mexico, so I know what they can do. Match 7: CPWA Women's Tag Team Championship: La Venena and Carnage Ayano (c) vs. The Hart Sisters (Crystal and Tracy) A somewhat decent match that had some great moments but at times, it was a botchfest, which was unusual for both teams. The Hart Sisters had control of the match, but Venena and Ayano started making a comeback. Crystal Hart managed to win the match for her team, placing Ayano in a sharpshooter to give her team victory and regain the CPWA Women's Tag Team Championship. 2 out of 5 stars. We cut to backstage and we see Kevin Meyers interviewing Keith Yang on his title match. Keith says that he hopes that the third time is the charm and that he will become the new CPWA World Heavyweight Champion. We return back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the CPWA Tag Team Championship. GACKT's "Redemption" plays in the arena Announcer: Introducing first, from Osaka, Japan, the team of Ryota and Daigo Yoshimura Blake Shelton's "Good Ole Boys" plays in the arena. Announcer: Next, from the great state of Tennessee, Roy and Zechariah, the Newton Boys. Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" plays in the arena. Announcer: Finally, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, they are the CPWA Tag Team Champions, William and Jake, the Odenkirks! Match 8: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match for the CPWA Tag Team Championship: The Odenkirks (William and Jake) (c) vs. Ryota and Daigo Yoshimura vs. The Newton Boys (Roy and Zechariah) This was a chaotic match with tons of high spots and lots of brawling. At one point in the match, Jake Odenkirk and Zechariah Newton climbed atop the ladder and beat each other with forearms and fists, leading to both men crashing through a table. This was followed up by a 450 Frog Splash combo from Daigo Yoshimura. Roy Newton saw an opportunity to reach for the gold, only for Ryota Yoshimura to powerbomb him off the ladder and onto some chairs. Unbeknownst to Ryota, William climbed atop the ladder and retrieved the CPWA Tag Team Championships. 2 out of 5 stars. We get a three-minute hype package about the Super Junior Carnival tournament, along with highlights featuring Rory Irvine and "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon. The hype package ends with clips of Rory Irvine and Han Sang-Hoon staring at each other. We cut back to the ring. Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is the grand finals of the CPWA Super Junior Carnival Tournament. The O'Reillys and Paddyhats' "Barrels of Whiskey" plays in the arena. Announcer: Introducing first, from Dublin, Ireland, he is Rory Irvine. Brian Kinsley: If you were to tell anyone that a young, plucky, yet scrappy wrestler from the Emerald Isle would find himself in the grand finals of the Super Junior Carnival Tournament, after going through numerous trials and battles, no one would've believed it, but here we are. Sir Samuel Stewart: Young Rory Irvine has been waiting for such an opportunity and he's going to make the best of it. Rain's "It's Raining" begins to play in the arena Announcer: And his opponent, from Seoul, South Korea, he is one half of the CPWA Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions, "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon! Brian Kinsley: "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon blazed a path of his own throughout the Super Junior Carnival Tournament, defeating the likes of El Colibri, Steve Odenkirk, and Devon Gatlin-Tyson. Could he win it all? Anthony Harris: He may, but also keep in mind that he's also CPWA Cruiserweight Tag Team Champion with "The Hi-Fli Kid" Jerome Evans. How will that all turnout? Match 9: CPWA Super Junior Carnival Tournament: Finals: Rory Irvine vs. "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon This match was the highlight of the event and the best match overall. Rory had the early advantage, but "The Korean Idol" came fighting back. Rory hit the Celtic Crucifix Drop on Han, only to get a 2 count. Rory look to put the match away but Kelly Lawton, Owen Benoit-Jericho, and Mary Addams provided distractions toward the referee and jumped Rory. Han would get himself involved, chasing off Lawton, Addams, and OBJ, only to be met with a superkick from Chip Day and Miles Orozco, plus a split-second DDT from Devon Gatlin-Tyson. "The Hi-Fli Kid" Jerome Evans, along with StarrVice rushed to the ring and fought The Olympians. It was complete chaos as everyone began fighting on the outside. Rory went for the Celtic Crucifix Drop, only for Han to reverse it into a falcon arrow, leading to the K-Pop Drop for the victory becoming the inaugural CPWA Super Junior Carnival Tournament winner. 4 out of 5 stars. After the match, Han Sang-Hoon extended his hand to Rory for a handshake. Rory accepted the handshake as both competitors celebrated together. Although Han won the tournament, the crowd cheered loudly for Rory, chanting his name. We get a four-minute hype package featuring Shelton Jordan, Keith Yang, Logan Lemming, and "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones. The hype package ends and we return back to the ring. Announcer: Our main event is scheduled for... Crowd: ONE FALL!!! Announcer: And it is for the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship. Bambu's "Chairman Mao" plays in the arena. Announcer: Introducing first, from Shanghai, China, he is Keith Yang. Brian Kinsley: IT'S YANG TIME!!! Buckshot, Skyzoo, Promise, and Sean Price's "I'm Better Than You" plays in the arena. Announcer: And their opponents, introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Brother Julius, from Columbus, Ohio, "The Number One Pick," LeJuan Jones. Motley Crue's "Shout At The Devil" plays in the arena. Announcer: His tag team partner, accompanied to the ring by Monroe Storm, from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, he is Logan Lemming. The Roots' "Do You Want More" plays in the arena. Announcer: And their opponents, introducing first, representing The Jordan family, from Miami, Florida, he is the CPWA World Heavyweight Champion, Shelton Jordan. Match 10: CPWA World Heavyweight Championship: Shelton Jordan (c) vs. Keith Yang vs. "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones vs. Logan Lemming There was lots of action going on in this fatal four-way. Everyone seemed evenly matched at first, but Logan Lemming took control of the match, suplexing anyone that got in his way. Not to be outdone, Shelton Jordan performed several Exploder Suplexes on each of his opponents. Although Keith Yang got in some offense, he would be taken out by Ivan Markov. This allowed Logan Lemming and LeJuan to double-team Shelton Jordan. It looked like the double team was working, but both competitors weren't going to allow the other to get the pin. This led to Logan and LeJuan fighting each other. Logan was about to hit LeJuan with Logan's Run, but the Soldiers of Misfortune (General Wade and Guerrilla God) prevented that from happening, saving LeJuan from any harm. The Soldiers of Misfortune double power-bombed Logan and then Shelton, leading to LeJuan to hit a Game Winner on both Logan and Shelton to get the win and regain the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship. 4 out of 5 stars. LeJuan Jones is presented with the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship as the pyro goes off and the crowd jeers and boos. LeJuan Jones and Brother Julius celebrate as Deception fades to black. 2023.06.11 00:10 certifiedprofessor I've built a marketplace and currently updating it a little bit, launched it in 3-4 months - so for solo founder when it comes to marketing that is when disaster starts - roast my startup please, maybe visit it too, maybe tell someone who would want to invest?? but just roast me
SELLER FINANCE MARKETPLACE - you probably don't even know what that can be because you are gonna say "OMG WHY WOULD ANYONE DO THAT?", well people do that.
It is a marketplace where one side can post a listing and other side can view a listing and inquire.
Types of listings? - Real Estate, Businesses & Transport.
You ever seen posts like "no credit check, buy here pay here, owner finance, rent to own, lease to own, creative finance, seller finance, no banks, bad credit score we approve, and many more" - well so in general all of that is called SELLER FINANCING or OWNER FINANCING.
Basically my marketplaces is focusing on those seller financing deals and lets people browse and find what they looking for.
Why I built it? - shit, i could get deep into details here but whatever I simply could not qualify to buy investment property using traditional mortgage because, I've been self employed and showed little income, so no tax returns that would qualify me for loan.
Then I remembered that in Real Estate they always say "you don't need a lot of money", so I was like let me do a research about this cuz everyone says it but doesn't actually show anything, so that is when I found SELLER FINANCING STRATEGY.
I was like oh this is nice, that this strategy is actually real.
Then I stumbled onto a problem with search - I tried zillow, loopnet, realtor, and more - they have seller financing deals but I needed to search by keywords.
Then I went on facebook and found A LOT OF GROUPS, with like 50k members, I was like oh wow I hit a goldmine.
I tried to find some deals there but it's just not it you know, so many people jump on one deal, and you can't filter by states, cities, bedrooms, and so on. Then I thought oh i gotta connect with sellers so they can send me deals, it works but they forget about you.
This is when it hit me though, I went on google and typed "seller finance marketplace" and nothing.
I was like how bro?
Then me as serial entrepreneur that failed more than succeeded said "I will make this marketplace just so I could get leads."
I started to design and research more and more and I got to the point where I added Businesses & Transport to the website, because it made sense.
Then google, insta, fb started to show me targetted ads about seller financing.
Niiiiiiiice, I followed some people that mainly do seller financing such as Pace Morby and Codie Sanchez but there are much more, these 2 are the biggest influencers in seller financing, Pace buys RE and Codie buys businesses.
They also sell courses on how to buy RE or Business using seller financing, Pace Morby 10-12k and Codie 8k.
So recently I told myself that I will add educational resources to the platform so people can watch it and read it and understand how to buy or sell. I will create a community/forum where people can partner up, then we already have the marketplace where you can search for deals, then I'm adding some services such as "full concierge", "sell us your home", "help with funding", and some other things. Full concierge is when a beginner or a busy investors asks us to find something for them and we do it, we negotiate, structure the deal, and close it for the client.
www.sellerfinance.io/ - disclaimer some of the features are on dev mode now so you will not see them.
Roast me folks, god bless you, and oh im so tired with these vcs, i sent so many emails, ugh man if anyone got a connect pls talk to me.

2023.06.11 00:03 thatsaxonboy_ I cant bare my classmates
Today I was an inch away from bursting in the middle of class. There's a person in the class who thinks she has the right to meddle in my affairs. When I'm talking to the teacher, this person interrupts and starts meddling in the discussion. She doesn't have anything to do with it. Besides, everyone who knows me knows that I have sensory sensitivity and she talks loudly (but that's bearable, it's a person's characteristic). The problem is that she insists on opening the curtain when the darn light of the room is already on.
But she's not the only person conspiring against me. At my school, we need to do scientific initiation (with a report and field notebook). With the exception of about 3 or 4 paragraphs, I did the entire work—introduction, results, theoretical framework, all the heavy part of the research, formatting, reading articles in English (not my native language), putting in the references—all me. However, it is the field notebook that will "prove" that everyone participated in the development. But the darn thing is that the other 2 people in my group just keep DELETING WHAT I WRITE! They are deleting my signature!! That is... I practically carried the work on my shoulders, but in the field notebook, it says that I didn't do anything.
Ah, and the student union... unlike the person I mentioned in the first paragraph, I don't usually get involved in subjects that I don't think are of interest to me, but I'm not going to stop listening and feeling a little afraid. We organize the June's party, and the guys just want to sell gifts related to soccer teams. Any person with common sense knows that soccer is a bad example for children. It's all about drinking, fighting, disgusting behavior, and racism. It's the same thing as selling liquor gifts to children. But also, from this current generation of parents, I don't expect any kind of good example.
The worst thing was that once I actually exploded, and the [expletive] of the principal said that it was because I am a "teenager woman" and that this type of feeling is hormonal. Which is just a ridiculous attempt to want to nullify my pain.
The lack of identification that I have with this environment has always been great, but today, almost as an adult, I realize that my place is far from this city, far from these people. This suffocating environment only increases my desire to break free, to fulfill my dream of living in another country (a very dark one like Norway so no [expletive] thinks the curtains are going to open) and be either self-employed or work from a home office so I don't see the face of any more jerks.

2023.06.11 00:01 National_East8228 AITA for being distant with my wife when she yelled at me.
Been with my wife for 5 years. Married for 3 but I consider it 5 since we’ve always been in “honeymoon stage”. Anyway, My wife’s a CNA, so naturally she’s stressed and busy.
She’s also usually telling me everything about her day when she comes home or just telling me gossip. Friday however, I asked her the typical “Hows your day going?” and she goes “fine”. No in depth or anything just “fine”, She’s never done this before at all.
I didn’t know if it was something i did so naturally I tried to goof with her so she can tell me what’s going on, which is what we usually do to one another when one of us is feeling down. So just think of hugging, pecks, silly noises and faces, etc. just typical goofing you do to someone you love. She wasn’t feeling it at ALL, which is like i said not like her, i wasn’t overstepping or anything. I made sure to stay in her boundaries.
But what i did affected my wife so much she told me “I really don’t want to me bothered right now, Your bullshit isn’t working” which shocked me so much, because i know i keep repeating but it was out of her element. So i backed off, and decided to just drive around the city for a while and hopefully let her cool off, I debated on checking in on her through messages but I kept remembering to give her space.
We live in the city so I wasn’t too far from home, I decided to stop at Walgreens and buy some flowers/ chocolates just incase I fucked up. We live in apartments in the city (important) so while I’m walking to our door I can hear her rambling, not sure if it’s about me or what but she’s saying things like “I don’t know what to do” and “I feel like i went too far”.
I did eventually walk in though, gave her the flowers and chocolate, pecked her forehead and walked into our bedroom. She was being awkward and kept glancing at me, and before she got into the shower she gave me a “show” which is a silly strip tease we do to goof around. I tried to be involved but I wasn’t really feeling it. in the end I of course apologized and she did as well, just feel a bit hurt i guess.
AITA for feeling this way? All advice is welcome.
TLDR: Wife of 5 years was having a hard time at work so I decided to goof around with her to cheer her up, this isn’t out of the ordinary because it’s something we usually do to each other to make each other happy. She yelled and cursed at me and now i’m upset. AITA?

2023.06.11 00:00 FuckPrinevilleOR How to get over hyper-vigilance?
I need some opinions from locals. I moved here back at the end of October and I got mugged three weeks into living here. Ever since I’ve been extremely hyper vigilant and it’s ruining my life. At this point I’m not that worried when I’m outside cause I never go out at night and I’ve just learned how to be more observant over time. The problem is it’s extended to not feeling safe in my home, and I don’t think it’s rational but maybe it is.
Ever since the mugging I’ve had this intense paranoid fear that someone is gonna break into my home. I live in Pigtown in an area that doesn’t get a ton of traffic and my house is pretty well protected but the fear still gets to me. Every little sound makes me anxious, especially when I’m trying to sleep. Whenever I travel to other places or states I automatically feel safer.
I almost feel like I deserve this, like I should’ve known better and got what I deserved even though all I’m trying to do is rebuild my life after dealing with a horrible home life for the past 20+ years. My lease is up at the end of August and I really don’t want to leave the city but sometimes I wonder if I should say fuck it and move to PG County or something.
I’m seeing a psychiatrist on Monday so maybe this can be treated, but given how intense Baltimore can be I’m curious how valid my fears are. I really like it here and I don’t want to leave but I also don’t like living in fear.

2023.06.10 23:58 journeytoclearskinn School List help for NYC below average stat applicant
Hi all, I would really love some advice on my school list, ones to add/subtract. I’m applying very broadly but would prefer to stay on the east coast (specifically the tri state area):
- cGPA: 3.4x , sGPA: 3.2x, Masters GPA: 3.8
- Currently pursuing Masters of Biomedical Science in Jersey, one semesters left.
- MCAT score: 515
- State of residence or country of citizenship (if non-US): NYC, USA
- Ethnicity and/or race: Arab (African American), URM, not disadvantaged, male
- Undergraduate institution or category: big purple school in NYC
- Clinical experience (volunteer and non-volunteer) 2100 dermatology MA (for MD, DO, PA, and NP), 200 hours shadowing (primarily urogyn but many others as it was a multi specialty clinic), 300 hours as volunteer hospital in high school but continued with them in college in a different aspect (helped bring my schools large resources and funding to this local hospital I was a part of).
- Research: 300 hours at Ivy League lab in high school in which I helped develop a lab protocol and was acknowledged in my mentors PhD thesis (also presented on our work at my high school science conference), 100 hours at a neuromarketing lab in nyc that worked with fortune 500s, 200 hours at a clinical lab at my schools medical center in which one of my responsibilities was translating forms from my second language (Arabic) into English from our large Arab population pool.
- Shadowing experience and specialties represented: 300 hours , primarily in urogynecology but it was a multi specialty clinic so lots of specialties - gave a presentation at the end of it on obgyn topic.
- Non-clinical volunteering: 70 hours as a private piano tutor for elementary kids in my city who couldn’t afford private piano lessons (stopped with COVID) , 50 hours volunteer through my Islamic center helping provide meals for the homeless; also went on a service trip with them to Texas after hurricane Harvey to help rebuild homes in Houston (one week). 300 hours as a volunteer coordinator and counselor for a summer camp for kids who’s parents are diagnosed with cancer.
- Other extracurricular activities: social media coordinator for a an organization here in my city that works to end gender violence against women (I helped manage the male cohort events that worked to make men better Allys), 400 hours as a member of the fresh, soph,jr, and senior class boards on my college student council (this is how I was able to bring my schools resources back to my local hospital)
- Relevant honors: deans list in my junior year of college, recicved mayoral service award for volunteering at my local hospital in high school (should I even include this? This is the same hospital i counties with through student council, I’m just confused as to how to incorporate this experience at all?)
Please help I’m having such a hard time knowing where to apply even with MSAR. I have money saved up from my job in college so I don’t mind applying to more , I just wish I knew where 😫 Thank you!

okay, so i’ve been living here for a few years now. i’m looking to move out from my current living situation but i’m having a super hard time trying to find anything that isn’t infested with roaches. i think a place is super nice.. go to read the reviews and BOOM. i don’t know WHY vegas has such a bad roach / scorpion problem but is there anywhere in the city that’s not horribly riddled with them? does anybody have any apartment or single home area recommendations? personally i don’t want to live with tiny little roommates.

2023.06.10 23:49 True-Reading536 AITA for wanting to kick my roomate out?
Ok, guys. Frist of all i just want to warn you that English is not my frist language. So please bear with me here and I apologize in advance.
So a few months ago my sister(20) and i(22) had to move out of our appartment because of mould. We searched for a while but it wasn’t easy since my sister is a hairdresser apprentice and doesn’t earn much. And it didn’t help that we had a cat and a dog. After a while our mother suggested that we should Ask my sisters friend (girl 19) if she wanted to move in with us. We knew that she wanted to move closer to the city and had already on multiple ocasions askes if she could move in with us in our ONE BEDROOM appartment. I can’t say that we wanted to but my sister and i agreed that it would be cheeper if we were three and could maybe be even closer to the city. After a while i found the perfect place with cheep rent and a beautiful location.
BUT now me and my sister are really starting to regret moving in with her friend. In 3 months she has crashed her car 3 times (that we know of). First at the property of our aunts neighbour. Thankfully her car was the only thing damage. The secound time she crashed into the house we are renting! And the worst part is that she didn’t even say anything. Our family noticed the damage on the house when they visited and startet to comment it. And now i can’t belive i missed it. When i was made aware of this i said she had to talk to the landlored right away and find a solution because i didn’t want me and my sister to be made responsible for her damage!
The last time she backed her car into my sisters parked car before she left for work. She did tell her about the damage and offered to pay her, but our family said she should have the damage checked out and save the insurance money for a new car, sience her car is not really that new or worth it.
Some may think that this isn’t that bad, if so keep reading.
After 2 weeks she broke our brand new dryer which me and my sister got as a gift to our first appartment. Then the broke our drying rack and refused to ship in for a new one sience the old one was still «standing». And things keep breaking in her surroundings….
And otherwise she almost never contributes at home unless you give her an easy task. If she dries her clothes in the livingroom it can stay there until we take it to her room or we ask her to take it. And i also want to mention that this often can be after me or my sister has kindly washed some of her clothes with ours. One time i even put some dishes after her dinner party in the machine before i left for a trip and when i got back i had the pleasure of experience mould in the dishwasher for the first time! The only thing she had to do was to put in the rest throw in some soap and press start!
I come from a big family and am used to living close to many different people, but now I notice that patience has started to become a distant concept for me..

2023.06.10 23:48 thefreedomjourney How would you describe the scene in Raleigh for a young guy in his 20s?
I am a 23 year old dude graduating college and am considering where I want to move. I am deciding between moving back home, and taking the jump to move to raleigh, NC for a job opportunity.
The job is remote but i feel as though i’d prefer to live in the city I am working in, even if the job is remote. Ideally in a city, I am looking for a very diverse environment, ideally well educated, and friendly. I’d love to have things to do at night, but i’m not a HUGE partier personally. I am just curious as to how people here would describe the city for someone who is just leaving college?

2023.06.10 23:47 sineadduran Well I messed up..
I 34f was 1 of 2 bridesmaids at my close friend's wedding 2 days ago. It was a 3 day event about an hour away from my city. I somehow decided bringing a litre of vodka (JUST IN CASE OF EMERGENCY) would be a good idea to spread out over the 4 days. Drank most on day 1. By the time the dinner started I was sent to bed. I missed the whole dinner and had to be smuggled out of the hotel in the morning with extreme DTs by a friend of mine. She had to skip the breakfast to drive me an hour home and brought me to my parents house. I was shaking violenty. They brought me straight to the dr. I was prescribed 90mg of librium which tapers down for a week to detox. Lost one my main friends, ruined the wedding, boyfriend is gone. Feel like shit now. I'll detox here, start AA and if I fail again I go to rehab. I have no job, no boyfriend, and no hope at the moment. But I'm absolutely determined to do it this time.

2023.06.10 23:46 NamelessNanashi [The Gods of Dragons: Beginning] Ch 20 - What is a Warlock?
Winter 4986, 22 Aoimoth
Rasnah found Branston in the chapel of Soleil and was grateful she wouldn't have to climb the stairs to his office. She waited in the back for him to finish his prayers and blessings, the stack of heavy books weighing down her mind more than her arms. "General..." one of the parishioners greeted her in a respectful whisper as he passed, and she managed to force a smile.
"My dear Sir Rasnah, is that a library in your hands or are you just happy to see me?" Branston asked with a jovial laugh that shook his belly.
Rasnah wanted to smile for him, but he was too good a friend to deserve something fake, "I was hoping to use one of your classrooms, I assume the children are done with their studies for the day?"
The shift in Branston's demeanor was subtle, but she was relieved to see he understood her mood. He continued the smile for the sake of his priests and petitioners still mingling in the chapel. "Right this way, General." he opened the door to the courtyard for her, whispering, "Need a change of scene, my dear?"
"I need a blackboard," she explained, following him around the outer edge of the courtyard to the classrooms where the city children took their lessons. "The Temple has great rooms for planning battles, full of maps and tokens galore, but not a single blackboard."
"Seems like a great oversight," he chuckled, opening one of the classroom doors and gesturing her in, "Let us hope that fixing that particular problem isn't the only heroic accomplishment you're known for in generations to come."
Rasnah snorted out a genuine laugh at that, placing her pile on one of the tiny desks but going straight for the board. "The Clerics of Lune were able to identify four of the ten bodies from the tower," she explained, searching the tray for a large piece of chalk. "I've had someone tracing the names, but they weren't natives to Clearhelm, and they didn't come here through legal channels."
"Not surprising, considering..." he moved to stand beside her, squinting at the board, "What are you...?"
"Warlocks, Branston. We know there were Warlocks at the tower, but that's the only thing we know. What do you know about Warlock magic?"
Branston sucked in a pained breath, "Probably little more than you, my dear. Tell me what you know, and I will fill in any blanks I see."
With a sigh, Rasnah began to write on the board, speaking as she did so. She wanted to get everything out so she could actually see it, maybe draw connections she was missing from turning too many pages in too many books, "Warlock magic is neither divine nor arcane, though it is more similar to arcane in nature..."
"Except it's gifted to them by a patron, much like divine magic is gifted by the gods," Branston interjected. Rasnah had started to draw out the standard venn diagram with the 'divine' circle, and 'arcane' circle intersecting but stopped halfway through writing the word 'nature' between the two. Branston shook his head, "I'm afraid this won't work quite so cleanly in two dimensions..." he moved to the teacher's desk, taking a blank piece of paper and drawing out the venn diagram again, filling the page with the circles, so they touched the edges. Picking it up, he rolled the page into a tube, so the two circles intersected twice, "Warlock magic is the opposite of nature magic, though it has the same overlapping sources." he explained.
Rasnah groaned and erased her started 'nature' with the side of her hand, scrawling, 'warlock' in its place for simplicity's sake, "Let's just ignore nature for now then..." she tapped the new word, "Warlock magic leaves a very distinct residue, like both divine and arcane, but unlike them, it can't be accurately identified as anything other than 'warlock'..." But Branston hummed to interrupt her again.
"There are different types of warlock magic depending on the patron granting access to it," he explained, picking his own chalk and starting a list, "Demon magic from the hells, and necromantic magic from the abyss, are the two most documented..." both the hells and the abyss were seen as outside the heavenly planes, segments of the 'outer planes.'
Rasnah's nose crinkled in disgust at both examples. They were not new to her, but she hadn't known they could be identified by residual spell effects alone. Needing to make sure everything stayed clear, she recited what they both knew, "Demon magic is granted by patrons only interested in collecting souls. It can cut the ties between a person and their god, preventing them from going to the heavenly planes after death. Some accounts even state a Warlock powerful enough can cut off a Cleric or Paladin." it was the most terrifying thing any follower of the gods could imagine, but a close second was... "Necromantic magic raises the dead as undead, trapping and twisting souls in their decaying bodies."
"Do we know what kind of Warlocks we're dealing with?" Branston asked.
She shook her head in frustration, "Are there any other types?"
The Cleric nodded but then contradicted it with a shrug. When Rasnah arched an eyebrow at him, he sighed again, taking up his chalk, "Warlocks get their magic from a patron on the outer planes. Some theories suggest this is where the gods originated and that the beings who dwell there are the parents of our gods. Though 'parent' isn't the right word..." he drew out the names Hengist and Horsa side by side. Rasnah felt her nose crinkle again, a growl slipping out as he drew lines from each name up to a single word, 'law.'
He tapped the word, "Please keep in mind that all of this is theory posed by Mages and philosophers, there is no way of confirming any of it without making a pact ourselves, which obviously isn't an option..." Rasnah nodded curtly and gestured for him to continue. Branston cleared his throat, "In the outer planes exist beings of pure concepts, such as law and order. They embody ALL of the concept, even the parts that seem contradictory. Their children split these contradictions. You have to admit, my dear, that Hengist and Horsa both value law and order, only their execution of the concept contradicts each other."
"Horsa is evil." Rasnah growled.
"I'm not going to argue that, Sir Paladin, but humor me," he managed a smile and tapped the combining word again, "Warlocks make pacts with these sources and communicate with them directly. Such communication in itself is enough to drive them mad, add to the fact that the beings themselves often embody contradiction..."
"Which is why all Warlocks go mad." Rasnah interjected, "Even if they started off with good intentions for the power they gain from the pact, they all eventually end up crazy and dangerous. And most," she underlined the types of warlock magic they did know, "Start off insane..."
"Yes," Branston confirmed, tapping the types of magic as well then drawing a new word below them, 'law,' "Just as an example..." he muttered as he wrote, then louder explained, "Basically there are as many types as there may be beings to make a pact with. Unless these Warlocks have formed a pact we are already familiar with, we have no way of knowing who their patron is."
Rasnah threw her chalk into the tray in frustration, "Damn it, we know so little..."
The classroom door slipped open, and an elderly priest poked his head in before pulling back into the hall, speaking to someone there, "I found her, Sir."
A young Paladin stepped into the classroom, and Rasnah cleared her expression, becoming the General once again. The knight saluted, and Rasnah nodded for him to continue, "We found where they came from, Sir."
"Ask, and you shall receive." Branston muttered under his breath. But Rasnah had heard the hesitation in her Paladin's voice and narrowed her eyes at the man.
"Swailand, General..."
"Damn." Rasnah slammed her fist on the desk, her unopened books rattling with the force of it. She couldn't hold back the whispered, "Fuck..." her mind racing.
"Uh... Sir?" the Paladin started cautiously then snapped to attention as she glared up at him.
"Go to the Mages Guild, have them send a blanket message to all Hengist Temples, they are to find the Master Monk Veon-Zih, Ally to the Temple, First Class, and have him contact me through mirror as soon as possible."
"Sir!" the Paladin saluted, and just in case, repeated Veon-Zih's name and credentials before hurrying from the room.
"A Horsa province..." Branston sighed, "You think they'll let him in when they won't anyone else from the Temple?"
Rasnah sighed, leaning back on the desk and rubbing her eyes with the heels of her hands, "Veon-Zih has connections everywhere. If anyone can insert themselves into this investigation, it's him." and the only people expressly banned from crossing Horsa's borders were Clerics and Paladins of Hengist. It took kingdom intervention to get such divine representatives across.
Branston took her by the shoulders, giving her a gentle shake, "I'll see what strings I can pull from my end. Soleil's light shines on all lands."
She managed a weak smile, "Thank you, Branston."
***
The same Paladin who delivered the first message brought the second four hours later. Rasnah ordered him to get dinner for himself and at least six hours of sleep before reporting to her again and made her way to the Mages Guild at a brisk walk, only a step removed from a jog.
The attending Mage at the front desk recognized her rank right away, even if she didn't know Rasnah personally, and stood to escort her to the call room. Rasnah was in enough of a hurry that she almost considered letting the other woman off, but couldn't bring herself to do it. She cleared her throat loudly, taking out her identification papers and tapping them on the table.
The Journeyman Mage had the decency to look ashamed before she resumed her seat, taking Rasnah's papers to confirm her identity and purpose. "My apologies, General..." She muttered for the breach in protocol.
Rasnah wasn't the type to yell or punish on a whim, but she did explain curtly, "These protocols are kept in place for a reason, Journeyman. You above all others should know the capabilities of magic to disguise an individual or take another form,"
"Those spells are very difficult, General, and highly regulated..." the Mage started but stopped at Rasnah's glare,
"And only those capable of both high-level magic and breaking the law would risk impersonating me. Those are exactly the people this protocol is in place to stop." She took back her papers without further admonishing the young woman, who hurried to take her to the call room.
The room was more like a long hall, lined with high-walled stalls. Above each stall's door were set two gems, this late in the evening, nearly all the red gems glowed steadily, mixing with the illuminating white light to tint the walls in pink. At the far end, above the largest stall, the red gem blinked. Rasnah's guide opened the stall door for her, chanting quietly as she did so until the red gem dimmed and the green began to glow in its place.
Within the stall was a single mirror, reaching from Rasnah's waist to just above her head, but the reflection was not her own. Veon-Zih had his eyes closed as he stretched with one arm and scratched his chiseled belly with the other. His already tan skin looked even darker with blotches of dust and dirt from the road. He'd obviously taken Rasnah's request for immediate communication very seriously.
The sight of him couldn't help but make her smile, "Hengist's pure soul, you're filthy, old man."
Veon-Zih scoffed, his eyes still closed as he finished his stretch, "And after I made a point of washing the blood from my knuckles just for you young whippersnapper..." his voice echoed in through the mirror, a reminder that he wasn't actually with her. As if to drive that point home, he said, "If you need me up there, Ras, you could've just sent an order to gate."
Rasnah shook her head, "Except that I actually need you in Swailand. Where are you now?"
Veon-Zih dropped his hands, "Halakon. Why Swailand?" Rasnah arched an eyebrow at the Monk, momentarily distracted by personal concerns for her old friend.
She resisted the urge to ask him about what had taken him to the desert province and instead stated, "Well, that explains the dust." before continuing with the matter at hand, "We have a lead on the Warlocks. The corpses originated in..."
"Corpses?" Veon-Zih interrupted.
Rasnah sighed. In her rush to continue the investigation, she'd forgotten he didn't already know about the tower, "We've found the Warlocks in Clearhelm, or more accurately, we found some of their bodies, a few of the corpses were still able to be identified after the fire and..."
"Fire?" Veon-Zih shook his head, "Start from the beginning Ras. If you want me to be your eyes and ears in Horsa land, I'll need to know everything."
So Rasnah told him what little they knew about the burning tower, but when she was done, he asked, "Where was it?" which made Rasnah look away. "Ras?"
"Just north of Hamerfoss... Shon was there. He's the one who saved the girl."
"What?!" Veon-Zih shouted, becoming larger in the mirror after stepping closer, "Rasnah, he's fifteen, what in all the hells was he..."
"He's a Sorcerer." Rasnah interrupted, and Veon-Zih's jaw dropped.
He swallowed, then -just as she feared- he nodded, "I'm coming up there, send orders for a gate."
"No, I need you in Swailand. We are taking care of Shon."
"I know how the government takes care of Sorcerers, General." he spat, "I'm coming up there. I might not keep money on hand, but I have enough favors I can cash in. I won't let them seal his ki. He can get his clearance and..."
"We are not going to give him the tattoo." Rasnah shouted over him, then continued calmly, "And he isn't leaving Hamerfoss." Veon-Zih arched a disbelieving eyebrow, and Rasnah rolled her eyes, "I can't tell if you're mocking me or genuinely don't believe me. The Temple is vouching for Shon so he can get a sealing item instead of a tattoo. It will block the ice magic but allow him to cast divine spells after he takes his Oath. We are taking care of him, V, and I need you in Swailand. If Horsa tries to take over our investigation I'll be left in the dark up here."
Veon-Zih sighed, leaning forward to rest his hand beside the mirror on his end. He rubbed his face and over his head with his free hand, still torn. When he spoke again, it was in a whisper, "Did he hurt anyone?"
"Hamerfoss has no less than forty-two men capable of healing all but the most deadly wounds..."
"Rasnah. Please?" Sorcerers rarely woke without some collateral damage.
"He was sparring with a fellow and froze his feet to the ground. The boy broke an ankle and suffered minor frostbite; both were healed the same night." Rasnah answered, trying to stay detached from the issue. Veon-Zih was already invested enough for both of them.
"I should have suspected... he's always been so cold." But ice was also incredibly rare. The cold of those who possessed that element made it difficult to find willing partners to carry on their bloodline. Instead, it passed through siblings and cousins who didn't manifest until it finally did many generations later.
"Shon is fine, Master Veon-Zih," Rasnah spoke quietly, waiting for her friend to meet her eyes before she continued, "he is one of the best Squires we've ever had, and we will not let him go so easily. I'll have you brought up here by gate as soon as possible. As soon as you're done in Swailand. I need you there, my friend."
Veon-Zih stood straight again and rolled his shoulders back with another sigh, "Let me get a shower, and I'll head out tonight."
"Would you like a horse?" Rasnah forced a smirk to try and lighten the mood, glad when Veon-Zih returned the smile.
"First you offer to get me up there faster, then you threaten to slow me down? General Rasnah, I thought you wanted to stay involved in this investigation?"
Rasnah snickered but continued on topic, "Branston has already contacted the Abbot of the Church in Sanoloa," the capital of Swailand, "I will have the reports and orders delivered to you with a gate to the closest Hengist-controlled Guild, after your, much needed, shower."

2023.06.10 23:46 KimchiTheGreatest I met a scam victim at my job.
Today at work, this lady comes in and she’s needing to ship a credit card to Turkey.
Well, we get to the point when I need a Zipcode, and there was no zip code in the address she showed me. So she said “give me a minute I’ll call them.”
So she did. Shortly after I hear her saying things like “well who are you and where is “Douglas”?” And “you’re in Arizona and not Turkey??” ..instantly I knew she was being scammed.
After her phone call I said to her in a calm manner “Ms.???, please don’t take this in the wrong way. You’re a very sweet and smart lady, but I’ve seen this before and you’re getting scammed.” I then asked her how she met this person and she said “online” and that they’ve been talking for 9 months now. She spoke to his “daughter” and he sends her photos of the city he’s in.
She said that her friends have all told her the same thing. Apparently she sent him money and she’s just trying to get it back now. But, i couldn’t tell if she was serious or just a little embarrassed that I mentioned that her “lover” is a scammer.
It was a very stressful situation. Eventually she left because we couldn’t get the credit card to Istanbul quick enough so the scammer told her to just go home.
I hope she cuts ties with that scum. :/

2023.06.10 23:46 Contactunderground This interview of Dr. John Mack by Dr Mishlove is a special release from the original Thinking Allowed series that ran on public television from 1986 until 2002. I highly recommend it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fslE1PK78Jo On a social media page, I was asked if I knew John Mack MD. Here is my reply:
We were active together in the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, IPPNW. I sat with him briefly in Moscow in 1985 while he was having a drink during the celebration of IPPNW’s winning the Nobel Peace Prize. I attended a MUFON meeting that he addressed a few years before he tragically died. I asked him a pointed question from the floor, and I was dealt with rather curtly by him. Still, I admired him so much in so many ways when I was a physician peace activist and finally as a contact experiencer. Although we looked at challenge of flying saucers in different ways, I still miss him.
Below is an excerpt from a detailed Vanity Fair article about life and death of this remarkable human being, John Mack MD.
· “ In Newport with the other experiencers, a Tom Hanks look-alike who wanted to be known as “Scott,” the way Mack referred to him in Abduction, remembered their last meeting at Cuvelier’s villa, in the summer of 2004. Mack was excited about his new book, on the survival of consciousness. Scott confessed his own fear of death. Mack reassured him. “You never know when it will be your time,” he said. “We could all go at any time. I could walk out on the street and get hit by a car.”
Raymond Czechowski, a 50-year-old computer technician, had spent three-and-a-half hours at the Royal British Legion, a military charity in north London, planning the latest poppy drive to aid the troops, in the course of which he downed five or six pints of shandy—beer mixed with lemonade and ice. Then, on that mild, clear Monday night of September 27, 2004, he pointed his silver Peugeot north and started driving home.
Just ahead, shortly after 11 P.M., in the north London suburb of Barnet, John Mack climbed wearily out of the Underground station at Totteridge and Whetstone. His talk had gone well, and many in the audience had brought copies of his Lawrence biography, which they asked him to sign. He had also spoken about the death of his father, Edward Mack, who, 31 years before, almost to the day, had been driving home with the groceries to their summer home in Thetford, Vermont, when his car collided with a truck. In London, Mack was staying with a family friend, Veronica Keen, a widow who told him she had been receiving messages from her deceased husband—more evidence, Mack thought, of survival of consciousness. She had said to call her from the station, and she would pick him up, but Mack decided to walk. He crossed a divider and stepped into the busy street. His American instinct was to look to the left.
Czechowski hit the brakes, but too late. Mack’s body flew into the air, shattering the Peugeot’s windshield before traveling over the roof and landing heavily on the ground. “He just stepped there, bang,” Czechowski told the police, who registered his alcohol level at well over the limit.
Mack never regained consciousness. From a crumpled paper with an address on it found in his pocket, the police learned his destination and his identity.
Keen, who sat with Mack’s body at the morgue, said he materialized and told her, “It was as if I was touched with a feather. I did not feel a thing. I was given a choice: should I go, or should I stay? I looked down at my broken body and decided to go.”
At Mack’s funeral, many recalled one of his favorite quotes, from Rilke’s Letter to a Young Poet (as translated by Stephen Mitchell): “That is at bottom the only courage that is demanded of us: to have courage for the most strange, the most singular and the most inexplicable that we may encounter. That mankind has in this sense been cowardly has done life endless harm; the experiences that are called ‘visions,’ the whole so-called ‘spirit-world,’ death, all those things that are so closely akin to us, have by daily parrying been so crowded out of life that the senses with which we could have grasped them are atrophied. To say nothing of God.”
Barbara Lamb and other friends also reported visitations.
Roberta Colasanti, one of Mack’s research associates, said he communicated to her a cryptic message on the abductions they had been studying: “It’s not what we thought.” Colasanti waited breathlessly for the solution to the mystery, but it didn’t come. Mack promised to return with more information. So far, he hasn’t.”

2023.06.10 23:46 survivorumich Moved and cat is acting out
I have a cat (4 to F, have had her for 3 years)
For the ~2 year I had her, we lived in a house of 23 (only saw 7 ppl consistently) and she stayed in my bedroom and the hallway mainly. Was content
The third year I moved to an apartment in a city. Couldn’t open the windows bc no screens and high up, no trees. Had a roommate who never played or hung out with her and kept her bedroom shut. She did fine
Now we moved again, a year later ish. I’ve been in the new place for ~5 weeks. I live alone now but it’s same area size as old place barring the roommates room she didn’t get to go into.
She can see me thru the window when i leave bc i have to walk by it outside. She’s meowing and crying and whining at the door whenever I’m here even after play. She’s now scratching the rug. I got kicker toys, the robot w the feather for when i’m gone. I have a 7ft cat tree and a 4 ft tall cat tree. 3 windows that overlook an area w a little more foliage and people walking by. She has unlimited dry food and wet can in the AM.
I can’t get her to stop meowing at the door or to not act like… a cat brat? I have no idea what to do. After first two weeks had the yearly vet appt and she said it’s normal and offered the mist with the cat smelling calm hormone.
1 week ago my long distance partner was here and she still did it but considerably less. he worked remotely.
I can’t be home more than I am given a student in the medical field. I have no idea what to do
The vet said theoretically another cat could just be worse and less social.
Any ideas?
I have a cat harness and leash and she gets frozen whenever i take her out. and she’s afraidddd of big dogs and my area is full of them

2023.06.10 23:44 Apathetic-Desperate How could you let this happen again
I can’t believe I blindly allowed this… Again.
Years ago I was stay at home mom, husband didn’t make much but we lived with my mom, so we were making ends meet. My husband paid all the bills and I really didn’t pay attention to any of our finances, I just kept my expenses low. I asked about going back to school to finish my degree before going back to the workforce, and he didn’t seem to have an issue with it.
[Background: his mom had recently passed away and left him $20k. But I honestly had no idea he was dipping into it!!]
I finished my associates at community college and started my first semester at a state university. Before the fall semester ended Christmas was getting close and I started talking about presents for the kids. He wouldn’t say much, but said he wasn’t sure what all we could do… long story short we had completely run out of all money to the point that we couldn’t even pay our bills that month!
“HOW COULD YOU HAVE NOT MENTIONED THIS?!” The more I asked, the more he withdrew. He was sure I was going to leave him because he couldn’t provide for me the life I wanted… I was furious that he would keep this kind of secret from me, and just let me blindly squander away all his inheritance like that! I felt like such an ass.
I told him we were a team, and that EVERYONE needs to learn to live within their means, etc. But it seemed like he just couldn’t hear me, and really felt bad about being a terrible husband. So, we never really did talk about it much. I left school and quietly grieved the career I thought I was going to have and went to work. We started to use a budgeting app. Finances sucked for that first year, but things got better.
About 5 yrs ago my mom passed away, and leaves a very messy estate for me to deal with. I start leaning on my husband to do the finances while I worked my way through that. Somehow we actually come away from that mess with a decent inheritance. Enough to take a gamble at a better life. We sell off everything and move across country to a (admittedly expensive) city with better opportunities.
His job transfers him and doesn’t pay much more. I quit when we moved but quickly started working somewhere else making more, then changed jobs and am now making about double. I just got my first huge bonus! “Hey, we can finally afford this expensive-ass city!” I say.
Excited, I want to open up the budget and start moving some into savings for the first time… And this is when a ton of bricks fell on me. We had been hemorrhaging money, and I had no idea. About $2k per month over what we make!! There was no sign that he was going to mention it to me… AGAIN.
I’ve asked several times, “How are we doing right now?”, “Can I buy these shirts now or should I wait til next month?”, “Should we go out for brunch or eat at home and then go grocery shopping?”. He always says we’re fine and “nope, go ahead and get it!”
Goddammit!
I mean, thank god we’re not in dire straights again. We can still recover. But it just really pisses me off, and I have no idea how to talk to him about it without him thinking I want to leave him or something! I think the only thing I can do is vent on here anonymously, and quietly take over budgeting for us.
TL:DR I guess I’m just a fucking idiot and let someone who’s bad with money be in charge of money… again.

2023.06.10 23:43 effincatalinawinemxr Mats vs Panels?
| I bought an Omnilux face mask a few months ago and have noticed some improvements in my skin. I’d love to start working on the rest of my body’s skin as well! I’m looking to purchase from Shenzhen Idea Light Limited on Alibaba, and I am really drawn to the full-sized mats that I could just lay on and flip over. I mostly see posts about panels, not mats. Is there any benefit one has over the other? I live in a small home in the city, so space saving is a huge plus for the mat. submitted by effincatalinawinemxr to redlighttherapy [link] [comments] |
2023.06.10 23:43 Akshat_rk Favorite local coffee shop. Location and Why?
Beginning my digital nomadic life in Europe this Sep after a few years in the US and India. As you can guess, am a big fan of local coffee shops that are about culture, community and of course, good ol’ coffee.
Making my itinerary around hidden coffee gems and an easy going city.
Curious to learn what hit home for you recently and something you’d advice me/ other folks to visit. Grateful :)
