The fact that the U.K is unfortunately by law a tyrannical state that dishes out criminal punishment to anyone who says anything anyone finds offensive, no literally they actually have laws that get you arrested for posting normal song lyrics and other mundane normal usage posts. It's from a recent yet slightly older law from 25 years ago, and it enables anyone to be charged with hate speech for saying or since the advent of social media posting anything anyone ever finds offensive.
I wish it were otherwise but unfortunately these authoritarian tyrannical laws are also present... in Australia and you have probably forgotten but they were on full display in Australia in 2019... when the Pharmaceutical companies became the wealthiest and most profitable companies on Earth... the same companies that sponsor Political Parties,... and Television advertisements,... Social Media companies (like the one your on now) and literally run the tests and produce all medical scientific papers (studies, theories, hospitals, physicians on payroll, fund entire hospitals and livelihoods... etc. etc.) The best example I can remember of the absolute tyranny Australia was under is a case whereby a pregnant women in Victoria was arrested for writing on a Facebook post that she was against lockdowns and supported the protests against them... the Police came and arrested her... for 'Hate Speech'... it luckily enough got picked up media companies (TV stories and articles). Luckily. So the police, after dragging this pregnant woman kicking and screaming out of her apartment (not exactly literally) let her go without charge. She was lucky. Very very lucky. And there is no way she should have had to have been 'lucky' for merely making a post on Facebook.
America simply does not have this problem as written into the very constitution as the 1st Amendment to their constitution by the founding fathers in all of their wisdom, intelligence, good faith and if your religious like they where, filled with divine enlightenment wrote it such that the Government in America has no ability to write any law to restrict people's rights to express themselves (Freedom of Speech), restrict the press (because back then they lacked smart phones, social media and all modern technology, which should be obvious but perhaps it is not and is difficult for people today to even begin to imagine life back then despite it being very loosely similar to today's world) and finallu restrict people's religious freedoms (written in reverse order to this because they were all wise God loving, humble, noble and brave men.
America's 1st Amendment is the only Freedom of Speech law written into its very constitution in the entire world, it is the reason that America is referred to as 'Land of the Free' and the second part of that phrase, 'Home of the Brave.'. As for protests, peaceful assembly had always been constitutionally protected, not violent assembly so riots and revolution is still very much illegal and is met with lethal counter force every time. [As a side note, if peaceful assembly fails to prevent America becoming a Tryrannical State, then the 2nd Amendment is the fail-safe. As the wisdom of the founding fathers literally argued and intendeded]
Australia does not have that phrase and frankly I feel that every Australian that knows that, feels a deep unspoken, subconscious shame over that fact and far more importantly that all Australians simply do not have the constitutional right to even speak their minds freely, as every human being alive desires.
As Rowan Atkinson stated 'Hate Speech' is not real. It is a term used to silence, censor and remove power from whomever those in power disagree and dislike or are offended by. There are seemingly endless examples from history of the evil deeds of enactment of those disliked by existing powers for example, Galileo (ostracised and persecuted by the church and all religious folk for merely stating he believed that the sun was the center of the Galaxy and not the Earth), Nikola Tesla (defamed by the work of Tomas Edison and countless people trying to claim his inventions as their own by way of patent theft and lies for the purpose of advertising like don't by an American organisation NPR over the discovery of radio), (Jesus Christ himself by his crucifixion by my Ancestors, the Romans) and as the last example, the NAZI's by locking up any intellectuals that disagreed or dared critisize any of their doctrine and propoganda, their torture of anyone condemned for death by way of countless sadistic and grotesque torture methods, and some though quite few, for scientific discovery purposes, their burning of the books followed in time by bodies, and lastly their brutal slaughter of the Jews, no evidence of wrongs but only stirring words and speeches from their beloved demagogue, Adolf Hitler and gigantic amounts of absolute propoganda distributed to the masses, orchestrated by NAZI Propoganda Chief Joseph Goebbels and his team. (Which every highschool student should have, though potentially didn't, have already learned from Highschool History class, at least in every Public School, Private Schools may be permitted a different curriculum.) Offensive caused by speech has only 1 solution. More Free speech, Rowan Atkinson a famous actor that has probably more wealth than this entire subreddit conveyed this message, and it would seem as an absolute truth as far as I can tell.
I have written this in hopes of sparking and pasing wisdom and knowledge into whoever needs to have read this. And hopefully you will pass this type of message on yourself from now on. Tucker Carlsons show on Fox was the most popular show on Fox News and it drew in about 2 million people every night to watch it... after he was fired... is now getting 35+ million on the regular after he started up on Twitter. I do so imagine that actuall that will be an understatement in the coming future as currently he's on his 2nd episode ever. The 'Streisand Effect' in full unbridled, unstoppable force.

I have a coworkefriend that I am truly divided on how to approach our friendship. We'll call her L for ease! L has allergies that tend to be exasperated by the environment we work in, leading to her having a bad mood fairly often. Generally, the job isn't a great place for her as the travel is long, she doesn't get along with other coworkers, as well as other things. Everyone struggles to work with her and I'm really the only one who can handle her, and it definitely shows in the team. L has told me before that she has ADHD and I've noticed lots of things like she doesn't pick up immediately when someone is done with a topic, she hyperfixates 24/7 and has a lot of demands that she doesn't understand how they are out of the control of the team (example, she brings up how stressful the travel is, then gets upset that we can't do anything to help). She has said and done some very hurtful/ignorant things and I've corrected her (example, "A can't be ADHD, he gets good grades") but she doesn't seem to care when she is wrong. I am patient with her and I don't push aside her problems with stress and allergies, ect but I don't join the conversation when she tries to have me give negative opinions about team members she knows I consider good friends. I'm not planning on changing my behaviour towards L, but it makes me consider all the other times I've gotten myself entwined with a toxic person and I'm wondering- is there a way to tell the difference? Hey guys, my husband (31) was diagnosed bipolar last year and started on lithium. He had been doing a little better. Recently he’s been cycling frequently…we’ve seen many psych doctors to adjust meds and offer advice but nothing seems to help. He has no career and cannot stick with anything. Currently he’s not working so I’m handling all the bills and most times the house work. We have no kids but I’m exhausted and so very sad. I just want some advice or a place to vent. Me (26f) and my partner (27m) have been together for 6/7 years now. I’ve the last few years I have noticed my libido dropping massively but when another person sparks my interest and flirts with me my sex drive shoots up and I generally have a better time with my partner.
Anyway, I have come to realise I am interested in an open relationship and I think if I were enjoying the company of other people I would be more aroused regularly and have more sex with my partner. The sex I have with my partner is very loving, comfortable, tender, and he knows me inside and out. But there are certain things we don’t do together, rough play etc because it’s not his bag. I would love to experience that with someone else.
My partner struggles to understand this because for him, I am enough. Which I struggle to understand because for example, he loves to give oral and I hate receiving it. I always feel a pressure to allow this to happen but if he had someone else to do this with I wouldn’t feel that pressure. (But what he wants or doesn’t want to do is his prerogative, I am happy if he does or does not want to have another partner)
Throughout our discussions his main concerns are

1. What if I leave him for someone else. Which I can’t imagine, I have never met anyone in this entire world quite as incredible as him. How can I ease this feeling?
   
2. What if he can’t get over the thought of me being with another person? I would say this is the biggest one, I think he sees it as dirty. Does anyone have any reading suggestions or advice on handling this?

For the past 18 years this has been successful: Volunteers have created and curated spaces, and users have created content and everything that has filled those spaces.
On May 31 of this year, Reddit unilaterally announced that it was changing the pricing structure for all third-party applications using its servers and, in order for apps like Apollo, Bacon Reader, or RiF is Fun to continue to function, they would be required to pay Reddit, Inc. some tens of millions of dollars per year effective 30 days hence. The net effect of this is that Reddit plans on ending the ability for ALL third-party applications to function. This will mean destroying the ability of users to interact with the site on their favorite platforms. This will affect not only moderators but also every user who chooses to use a third-party application to view the site; THIS DIRECTLY AFFECTS YOU.
Habitat for Humanity could not function without its volunteers and the tools and skills they bring to the table; Reddit cannot function without its volunteer moderators and users and the tools and skills they bring to the platform.
Reddit is making these changes solely to serve you more advertisements, facilitate more spam, and track and sell your personal user data to other marketers and platforms. This has no benefit to the user, but we have seen this pattern before with other platforms. The animosity of Reddit towards third-party app developers, moderator staff, and users alike is telling and it does not bode well for the future of the platform. Reddit's actions are bad for everyone.
If Habitat for Humanity volunteers were treated thusly they would, sadly, pack their tools and move on and think at least of the good they have managed to do for people. As volunteers for Reddit, we are now preparing to pack our tools and move on. Reddit's clear avarice and contempt for the people who have spent millions of hours for free building and populating their communities is coming to a head.

In protest, this will be closing all access as of June 12 and will be dark through June 14, perhaps longer. The mod staff is unwilling to continue to work with restricted functionality and in the face of such shocking disregard from Reddit, who has effectively been our pro bono client for the entirety of the site's existence. Okay so here's my situation, I'm having a pretty bad pregnancy scare, im almost a week late, having plenty of symptoms that can also be related to my menstrual cycle, i know that i should have gotten my period already because me and my coworkers are synced up, and also whenever i usually have sex with my SO he usually makes my period come the next day or same night if its around my cycle, I been having some vaginal and abdominal pain, sore thighs, nausea even if im hungry or just ate, constipation, more intense hormones, I tested negative doing a pee test but in early pregnancy you more then likely won't find out until you're far much more along at least 1-4 months, if I'm estimating this correctly im only a couple days or 2 weeks at most, I've told my employer and she doesn't care and gave me a week to figure stuff out since I work at a fast food chain and it's mandatory to lift heavy things even though we have other pregnant employees, it's overall extremely frustrating, not the possibility that im pregnant but more of how much bullshit I gotta put up with at my job and everyone else is too lazy or high to lift the heavy things even though we have plenty of coworkers who are guys, that are more taller, and stronger then a girl of my frame. Are you alright? I just want someone to smile at us with kindness and not deceit, be able to accept without worrying about what we leave, behind. Our minds filled with different things, so we sit and write, and struggle to rhyme. I struggle to hide behind masks and lies, half-full of truth and our psyches- why do we hear so many versions of me crying? Out for my soul, out for my life. i'm sorry, I don't know man, we're feeling a little more crazy lately. everyone's getting hot and angry, i have to take a breather, baby. these people get on my nerves. I know i'm a little weird, listen, you don't wanna date me. you feel good but we're a little spacey, there's a lot of things to talk about, but everything's hazy, and I just wanna lay with you.

I started attending a new church last year and within a few months of being there I noticed this really cute guy there always staring at me, smiling at me and making an effort to sit near me. Our church is big and I don’t like to assume, so I just thought maybe he was being friendly. He never talks to me but I always see him, and he volunteers sometimes in a separate department from me, and so I interacted with him in passing. It’s been almost a full year since I have attended the church, and recently I decided to try online dating apps. I started on a christian app and within literally less than an hour of my account being active this guy from church super-liked my profile. At first he pretended like he didn’t know we went to the same church, but I assumed he was playing it cool, because later he said he did see me at church. So we started talking and things were going well and he was even opening up to me about his life and things were great, he asked to connect on instagram to take things off the app. For reference I am in my late twenties and he’s in his late thirties.
We’ve been talking on IG for almost three weeks, and in that time he’s asked to meet at church to say hello, I find this a bit odd, I would expect him to want to meet in a dating context for coffee or somewhere outside church when we’re both not serving or in the service. However, I am open-minded. Two weekends have passed and he’s either not messaged me to meet in a place at church and messages me later apologizing after we don't connect, or he didn’t show up to church. He also takes anywhere from 12-24 hours to respond to a message, it feels like we are writing letters back and forth. I understand both of us work and have lives, but every other man that has shown interest in me makes an effort to text me a couple times a day at least and makes plans.
Finally, I responded to one of his messages and ended it with we should meet up sometime outside church. Maybe he’s shy or nervous so I gave him an opportunity. He has not read the message yet, but I am convinced he read it in airplane mode or something because he hasn’t responded to it in two days. He’s been posting on instagram stories, and watching all of my stories.
I find this odd behaviour for a christian man in his late 30’s that serves in the church and knows I do too. If he’s lost interest, changed his mind or met someone else, I would prefer if he would just be upfront with me and say that so I can continue dating intentionally and won’t feel uncomfortable at church. I finally managed to cap today myself and thought I'd share my setup. Upfront: I had been toying around with other ideas but finally went with the one u/Chipofthehead69 used which was based on one u/Resnaught shared. I never looked at any videos though so I'm not sure how similar my setup really is :)
I do not have the World Ender VC, am using 2x Sweet Friendship VCs though. If you do not have said VCs the team can still work but you'll have to adapt (-> chain Olive's SLB with Esther's LB on the kill turn; Rinoa's damage will suffer quite a bit though). The World Ender VC makes this a whole lot easier.

Ilmatalle - passive provoke + evade, a source of Nethicite, paralysis resistance; doesn't really matter how you achieve that, it's easy. EX level doesn't matter either.
Ibara - base form needs some help with MP as she will be using Bardarkja A LOT. BS form is just pure LB damage against machines. Mine is EX+2 (lvl 130).
Esther - now here's a build I never thought I'd share. Let me explain: Her base form is built to squeeze out the last bit of damage I could find. She did ~50 million which is... something (especially when you miss the cap by 32 million :> ). Her BS form is built specifically to have enough Spr to manage the incoming damage (my setup takes a little over 4k damage total). Both forms have at least 100% earth resistance.
Rinoa - base form Zidane's STMR + full LB fill (12 stones + as much LB fill rate as you can). BS form full magic damage against machines with Diabolos equipped. Mine is EX+1, her mag stat doesn't reflect properly on the builder (it's 1.5k too high, maybe counting the weapons twice?).
Dark Rain - laziest unit in this team. Full LB damage against machines.
Olive - full magic damage against machines.
While equipping for damage, the order of importance is Ibara > Rain > Rinoa > Olive.

Three specific things I want to mention:
I willingly take the dispel on turn 3. I don't have anything up at that point that I need and it removes the earth imperil, making Esther's build easier.
I did all of this without macros. Turn 3 is my 100 chain turn, it's 3x triple BS + 1x quad BS, I never failed that. BS chains still the single best thing Gumi ever brought to the game. And as for timing Rinoa's Apocalypses: Count to four while she casts/flashes, then back down from 5 in the same rhythm (so 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 - 0). Send Olive/Esther at 0, then Rain/Ibara right after. That way Rinoa's first hit lands around ~20 hits on the chain and the last one right at the end. It took me two or three tries to figure out the timing and it was pretty easy from there.
This does rely on variance. It took me exactly 20 tries to get a 18.47b roll (18.03b needed). Before that, I did have a 17.99b roll, too. So there is some leeway in the damage requirements but not a lot and any worse builds than the featured ones mean you'll need more luck.

Not sure if it's happening to anyone else or if there's a workaround, but I went to set a text notification for someone and the previews of the sounds wouldn't play when I selected them. P7P

English is not my first language, so please excuse any mistakes. My boyfriend and I have been together for 2.5 years and have been living together for the last year. A few weeks ago, I bought tickets for a concert that my BF wanted to go to. Yesterday, we went and it was great. The only problem was that we were a bit hungry from the beginning of the concert and there wasn't anything to eat. So we said we would go eat elsewhere after the concert ended. After the concert, we headed to a bar near our house that serves nice food. I wasn't that hungry because I was drinking (he was driving), but I had a nice time and didn’t want the night to end, it had been a while since we went on a proper date because we are both students. When we got there, there was a waiting list. My BF didn't want to wait because at this point he was starving, so we headed across the street to another place. They were closing, so my BF headed to Domino's. I told him I didn't want pizza, but he could go ahead and order, and I would just grab something when we got home. He offered to get something else for me that's not pizza, but I didn't want anything. It's worth adding that I was interested in getting something from those previous places because I like the food there. We eat pizza at least once a week because my BF loves pizza, but yesterday I wasn't hungry and just not in the mood for anything from there. When it was our turn to order, my BF ordered a large pizza and a meat sandwich (he is vegetarian, so it was obviously for me). I told him I didn't want anything and I wasn't going to eat it, but he didn't care. So I approached the lady who took his order and told her to cancel it. He told her to keep it, and we went on for an awkward minute. I took a chance and paid for the pizza just to make it over, only for him to place another order for a meat sandwich. I was so frustrated and furious because he was so stubborn and wouldn't listen to me, so I got out and started crying. When he came, he didn't understand why I was like this. I told him to stop thinking that he knows what's good for me better than I know. He said I was making a scene in front of people, that it was childish, and a new side of me that he hadn't seen. I didn't back down, and he said that I was walking on thin ice so I told him to break up with me…It wasn't pretty. We got the pizza and headed home. On the way home, I saw the events without a fight in my eyes, so I calmed down and was ready to talk about it. I don't remember what we talked/fought about when we got home, but it ended with him coming to hug me while I was crying. Today, I had to get up early to visit my parents (it was a planned visit), and we talked on the phone to clear the air. My BF thinks he did nothing wrong. He said that I overreacted and he wanted to do a nice thing for me. He didn't want me to have nothing to eat while we sat together and he ate. He also said that 80% of the time when I say I don't want to eat, I end up having a slice. I told him that it's true, but this was obviously not the same case because I was so clear that I didn't want it, and he could tell that. This is not the first time he has done something like this (I'm not going to get into the previous time, but it has to do with him meddling in my school work. He knows it was wrong on his part, and he took responsibility for it). I told him he was being controlling and toxic. He said that I'm influenced by my parents' relationship and that he is not like this. All he wanted was to give me something to eat, and sometimes in a relationship, people make decisions on their own, and he believed my reaction was way out of proportion. I agreed that it wasn't a big deal on its own, but it built up with all the other things. I wanted to know why he insisted on ordering that sandwich when he had a chance to drop it. I said it looked like he wanted to show me who is the boss, and after I pushed him for an answer, he said that he didn't want to give in in front of people and that it wasn't my place to meddle with his order in the first place because he was the one having the conversation and he was planning on buying it, so I have no say in it. We got to the part where each thinks he is right. He kept telling me to tell the story to an outsider so I can get some perspective. So, what do you think? Who is in the wrong here?

Hello, I am a 22 years old female. I have four siblings, 1 brother who is 1 year older than me and he has cerebral palsy (he is the blessing in our lives) and 3 elder sisters of which 2 middle ones are twins and the eldest one is married. So we sisters are in the field of medicine and all my elder sisters are graduated but I am the only one not graduated yet and we all are preparing for exams to pursue medicine in foreign countries and none of us is working at the moment. We all sisters live together in a house far away from our parents because of education and my parents can’t move with us because my father built his business in that small city 20 years ago so that he can support us for our future as we all are planning to move out of the country due to bad situation in general and it’s overall very expensive as we are 4 and foreign medical exams are super expensive hence my parents moving with us will totally ruin our financial status. So the problem here with us that we sisters fight a lot. Specially my middle twin sisters. Both of them are 26. My eldest sister is married but she is currently living with us because her husband is in another country so she is staying with us till she gets done with her exams and stuff. I basically study in a medical school which is in another city than my sisters or parents live in but I have summer vacations going on that is why I chose to live with my sisters for my vacations so that I can prepare for my exams as well. The problem with us is that we are happy in general with our studies and stuff but there happen to be a lot of fights between my sisters. Like I Just moved a few weeks back with them but the fights has been going on since we were kids. There are times that we are happy together but when the fights that happen are so big that they come to physical abuse. Mostly the fight includes one of my middle sisters who are twins. Let’s say she’s twin A. Now since we are growing up she has always been jealous of people like people whom she used to study with because they get higher grades and she always all the time says that people compare her with her twin sister Twin B. Twin A is average looking and average in grades and she generally fights with people and has no friends at all. While Twin B is pretty, slim, well mannered and have really good friends. Now all of my siblings I have been always told that I am the smartest one and I have good confidence and I have even travelled outside of the country few times alone hence I have good contacts and I am generally friendly with everyone but I am average looking. Now the comparison Twin A talks about is mostly with Twin B. It is with me as well but with Twin B is even with small things. Now for example if we have few people coming to our house and me and Twin B are usually talkative so if any person talks to me or talks to Twin B then Twin A throws tantrums that people always do that they talk to you and not to me they always do comparison. Twin A always says to Twin B that people talk to you because you are pretty. Now in general we belong to a good, decent family and we try to make things up. We always (specially me because she listens to me) to calm down the situation whenever we or they fight but the situation goes so much out of hand that Twin A starts verbal and physical abuse. Twin A beats Twin B. Twin B comes back with replies too but she never tries to defend herself. Twin A out of aggression would through phones or laptops or anything around her. I always say to Twin A that you are better in a lot of things in which Twin B and I are not and much more things like not everyone will talk to us but one time she would agree to me and then the other time she would start fighting again. Now let me go to little back story of Twin A. Twin A was good student in general when she was young. As twins they have always been with each other and even after all these years they are together because they are in the same profession and now preparing for the exams of the same country. Now Twin B was average in school back then but Twin A was very good but when the time of MCAT came, Twin B got selected and Twin A did not. Then Twin B got into a medical school in which she got selected because of good scores while Twin A did not get selected into the merit one due to very low scores in MCAT but there is system of self selection in my country where you would have to pay 4x extra money to get into a med school. As Twin A did not get selected she asked my father to get her into self selection one and then my father agreed she went into a 5 year medical school but the school was different from the one Twin B was into. Now when Twin A got into med school she faced a lot. She got diagnosed with religious OCD and we all sisters helped her through that we used to go with her to the doctor help her with stuff but the terms between Twin A and Twin B did not get any better. When Twin B got into med school on her own and she got separated from Twin A she saw a different perspective of life. She always said that she is glad she got out of Twin B’s negativity, comparison, jealousy and abusive environment. Twin A when she was in med school used to get into a lot of fights with people, she used to trust other people and give them money and she had a lot of issues with her roommates and people in the University as well. After 5 years both of them came out of their med school and started to live together because both are going for the same future path and they were living in the same city and it is generally not really safe for girls to live alone in my country and being from small city and being girls my parents are generally very much concerned about us. Now it has been 1.5 years since they have moved together there has been never a single day on which they had not fought. Twin B took her one foreign medical exam and passed although she started late then Twin A but she has to take 3 more however twin A has not taken any exam yet because she has not been prepared and she has very low confidence. But as I have 2 months off from my med school I have decided that I will be taking the exam as well so that I could get done it soon. Now Twin A and I have our exams in 1 month and Twin A is still not getting off of these fights and comparison and I am sick of it. My parents are not helping a lot because if they do anything Twin A then blocks them or goes out of the house without telling anyone or stuff like that. However we other three sisters are in good terms but Twin A always starts tantrums about comparisons when we never do comparison. If there is anything that I have then the same exact thing my other sister has. If I have been allowed to study for foreign exams then my other sisters are also given the same. But all this negativity and comparison is just killing my peace I mean I am already like dead and I have my exam in 1 month. We can not tell anything to my father because Twin A never listens to him and my father is already very stressed because we lost our grandfather a few months back. I don’t know where I should seek for help but it has been really hard for all of us. I just want to get done with my exams and move into another country and start earning but it will probably take me another 1.5 years. I don’t know what to do. We have tried therapy for my sister as well but none of it is getting better.

Me and my girlfriend have been in a really good relationship for the past six months or so. This is someone I have known practically my entire life. There has always been something between us but we only recently started exploring it.
I kind of lost my old habits with women in the relationship and just went with the flow. Normally with women, I will keep busy, rarely give her any time, less compliments, less attention, etc... This is something I have found to work well for me practically every time before her.

Anyways, I decided to tell my father about our relationship and maybe how this is the woman I would like to marry. (He knows her well). He gave me a lot of good advice but also told me to do the things I said I had left behind, to give her less attention, less compliments, basically to never let her feel like I truly like her.

I have put the advice to use and it has since been ruining things. What used to be a fun relationship has just become a bit dull. She sends less and less pictures now. She told me before that she felt good in her body because I make sure she knows it. I am thinking the less compliments has something to do with that. on Dec 19th I launched DataAnalyst.com - this is the fifth (May) update of hopefully many more to come.
Want to make sure I document the journey, and keep myself honest, so each month I will be making a post about the statistics, progress, some thoughts and what are the next steps I want to be focusing on.

1. General Observations

Stats

DataAnalyst.com has been online for just over 5 months and we've brought over 1,250 hand curated data analyst jobs onto the site - all of them including a salary range.
There's now 1,200+ people subscribed to the newsletter, and I can't thank you enough for your support and for joining us on the journey.
While in April the site grew to just over 5,000 monthly visitors across 26,000 pageviews, in May we've been able to cross the 5,000 visitors yet again, with over 28,000 pageviews - not only that, we registered approximately 4,500 data analyst applications being started from the site!
Additionally, I've also had multiple people reaching out, both in comment section of my previous updates, but also in DMs, sharing that they have found the site to be extremely useful in their job search, and that they were able to get interviews and onboard new roles through the site - I absolutely love this, and even if the venture doesn't end up being commercially successful, I'm super happy to hear that it has indeed helped people when needed.
Google impressions are over 50% up, albeit the amount of people clicking through to the site remained flat.
On the positive note - the site has finally ranking for all the major target keywords:
"data analyst jobs / data analyst job / data analyst / data analytics jobs"
Pumped about this, as having multiple channels is crucial to long term growth and protecting the site and traffic from algorithm updates.

Things that happened

a) Expired Listings - There's feedback regarding some of the jobs on the site already expiring and leading to non-existing listings. I am trying to come up with a solution where visitors would be able to upvote/downvote and thus highlighting status for everyone else. For now, I went through job listings and marked those roles no longer open as "Expired".
b) Product Hunt launch - Early last month I decided to share DataAnalyst on Product Hunt. The idea wasn't necessarily to try and rank up to the top, but mainly get the site out there, and gain a backlink from ProduntHunt that's going to help the site's authority. Overall the voting process is extremely cumbersome, but we did end up with 36 upvotes which was more than I expected.

Expecting a summer slump

With summer, there's typically very little hiring happening / it's extremely slow as people are taking well deserved time off. I'm expecting activity on the site to decrease, and my main goal for this period is getting together a plan of action to start reaching out to companies in Q4 and Q1, educate them about the site, the value proposition and hopefully get a few partnerships on the books.
What that will look like, I honestly have no idea, but experiment, iterate and go again.
Some of you may have noticed that I've also recently launched BusinessAnalyst.com - where I'm looking to replicate step by step what I've done over the last 5 months with DataAnalyst. The overall idea is to create a network of sites, benefiting from the same infastructure, serving and helping different career paths, and making a collaboration with organisations much more appealing (afterall, most companies who hire for data analysts also look for business analysts and vice versa). Arguably, this might not make much sense seeing that DA still hasn't brought any revenue in, but on the other hand, I can reuse the whole tech stack and structures already in place, halve my cost per project, while doubling the surface area to catch me some luck. Anyways, how this will work out is a case study for another time.

2. The Salary Guide

On a monthly basis, we've been utilising the data available to developing and sharing Market Insights - a deep dive into the data analyst job market, where we can have a look at the job openings and provide you all with insights on the latest hiring trends in the United States.
With these insights I'm trying to bring answers to questions such as: Which industries are hiring the most? Are we seeing any salary increases? And what about the remote working trend?
With that in mind, I'm excited to share that the first five months of insights were consolidated, and the Salary Guide has now been published.
The data analyst salary guide provides the overview of salaries in various industries - and now also shows a more detailed view on each industry page, with a deep dive into how much entry level, senior and lead data analysts can earn depending on their experience.
This is only based on job opportunities on the site, and no external data sources are utilised. The plan is to have it updated quarterly, with the next update in September.

3. "Day in the Life" - a series of interviews with data analysts sharing their experience, thoughts and advice.

The third interview from our series has been published. In these interviews, we aim to share stories and experiences about the route to becoming a data analyst, keeping up with the skillset, recommendations to aspiring data analysts and much more.
Tisha, who is a data analyst at Tesla, has shared some fantastic insights, and I'd love to highlight couple of my favourite quotes from the interview.
On what she loves about being a data analyst:
