-Conan is a walking power fantasy with infinite strength and stamina. He's a high-level Skyrim character with maxed out melee skills. Elric is always in terrible physical health and can barely sustain his life. With Elric's blood condition, you'd expect someone like that to be bedridden for life, but no, Elric embarks on epic adventures anyway despite being on death's doorstep every day. Elric's reliance on drugs often adds another layer of tension to the story, because his means of sustenance aren't always available. If he's completely cut off from medication, he's at the mercy of his enemies.
-Conan can brute force his way through most situations, which can be fun to read, but I'd rather just pop in Doom Eternal and do the brute forcing myself! Elric can only use brute force when he is physically well-sustained by souls, drugs or magic. Stealth, wits, and magic serve Elric as much as his sword does, leaving you guessing how Elric may win.
-Conan has no relationship with his god, Crom, because Crom refuses to help people who pray to him. Elric, meanwhile, has a very close partnership with his god Arioch... who is basically Satan. And by "relationship", I mean a series of Faustian bargains which might help Elric win battles, but indebt him to a devil. Elric is also friends with elemental spirits, like the Poseidon-like sea king who offers Elric aid freely, though Elric is usually in situations where only demonic power will help.
-Conan is a very simple dude with a simplistic moral compass. He eats, drinks, slays, and is content. Elric is an extremely conflicted character. His entire race is evil, but, like Drizzt, tries to abandon evil and embrace good, leaving his homeland on a quest for enlightenment. Unlike Drizzt, Elric constantly fails at being good despite his best efforts. Its tragic and interesting to watch Elric try and become good so he can save his empire, only to dig himself deeper into the hole. He basically goes into a Bloody Nine rampage whenever he unsheathes his demonic sword Stormbringer, which has a mind of its own, and tries to impose its own murderous will upon Elric.
-Conan is completely victorious. He never loses, his plot armor is immeasurable, and he is always the moral victor in whatever situation he's in. He is benevolent, he is powerful, and failure is inconceivable to him. Elric is a Shakespearean tragedy and a walking atomic bomb. He's closer to Macbeth or Scarface. Elric's plot armor is thinner, and even when he DOES win, sometimes he'll cause so much destruction (to both his own soul and others') that you'll wonder if he deserved to. Elric's loved ones have little plot armor either; Conan has no home or loved ones to return to, while the entire reason for Elric's quest is for him to save his people from the doom he foresees. Every one of Elric's victories just brings that doom a little bit closer. I have to wonder if Joe Abercrombie has read Elric, because Elric's "victories" often resemble the Bloody Nine's.
-Conan's enemies are kinda meh. He has no rivals who can match him with the sword. No Vergil to his Dante, no Gary Oak to his Ash Ketchum, no Edgeworth to his Phoenix Wright, no Sub Zero to his Scorpion. Elric has his cousin Yyrkoon, who nearly equals Elric in intelligence and fighting prowess, and even gets his own runesword to fight against Elric's own. Later, Elric meets other powerful baddies who actually prove a match for him. His worst enemies, however, may be his best allies: his own devil-god Arioch, his own demon-sword Stormbringer, and his own will to resist his fate, resist the gods, and the impending doom of his crumbling empire.
-Conan's story doesn't really end. Chronologically, "Hour of the Dragon" is his last story, and that just ends with him choosing his queen. We never get to see how his reign over Aquilonia goes after that, due to Howard's tragic suicide. Elric's story DOES have a definitive ending, and goddamn, it is satisfying. One of the most satisfying endings in all of fiction. Though not one of the happiest...
-There's nothing like Elric's relationship with his sword Stormbringer in Conan. Conan is a loner and triumphs by making temporary alliances at best. Elric needs Stormbringer like Gollum needs the One Ring, and their relationship is just as toxic and destructive.
Elric's weaknesses, his self-destructive powers, his moral conflicts, his futile war against fate, his powerful enemies, and the completeness of his his story arc all make him more fun to read than Conan.

So I’ve had my Series X for about 2 years now and there’s been a few games that it just crashes or freezes basically not allowing me to play the game. Those games are Destiny 2, Elden Ring, and Apex, I don’t play on a monitor I just play on a normal tv that I think doesn’t even support 4K but I feel like that shouldn’t be the issue. I’ve restarted my Xbox, hard reset it, deleted those games, gotten my thermal paste replaced, and I still haven’t been able to fix it and it’s really bugging me now so could anyone help?

Well, things have officially gotten batshit.
When I called Mr. A and told him about the Vagrant’s actions, I could almost hear him go pale. Obviously, he had hoped this would never happen. He told me to say a certain phrase aloud: “Closed for Maintenance.” Just like that, the entire shop shifted. The glass door was covered with an enormous slab of some bizarre material that looked almost like obsidian, and come to think of it, looked an awful lot like a solid form of whatever the Vagrant’s skin was covered with. The same thing happened to the windows, and the lights in the shop turned on automatically. Finally, the warehouse door was sealed by one of the slabs.
There was no doubt in my mind that Mr. A had hoped and prayed this would never happen, but he always expected that it would. Despite his obvious fear, he managed to keep enough composure to tell me that these slabs were created from material taken from one of the Vagrant’s earlier intrusions. Using it, he had been able to create a full system that would drive the creature out. Then he told me with some hesitation that it was time for me to meet “Them.” Now, this was the first time he had decided to give them an actual name. According to him, they were called “the Proprietor.” Despite their innocent-sounding name, I had the sense that I had to be on my guard when it came to dealing with them, something Mr. A confirmed. “You’ve dealt with eldritch things before, lad, but trust me when I tell ya, this bloke’s on a different level. I can’t stress these instructions enough, lad: don’t ask them anythin’. Just listen, then wait until they’ve finished speaking. They’ll know why you’re there, and they’ll give ya answers, but they won’t be comfortin’.”
Well, I got what Mr. A was talking about after he had given me the instructions on opening a door to the Proprietor’s world. I’m not allowed to disclose how I made it appear, but a door that the shop previously didn't have appeared behind me. On it was a sign that read, “Proprietor’s Office. Staff Only. Violators Will Be Terminated.” A faint droning noise emanated from the other side. Cerberus gave a small whine, and I just pet his head and smiled reassuringly, though I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t feeling nervous as well. I slowly placed my hand on the doorknob, then turned and opened it.
How do I best describe what I experienced there? I think the best word I can use is, “contradiction.” Imagine an infinitely large room with no color, yet somehow brighter than the Sun. The droning noise I heard from the other side of the door continued, but it was joined by a deafening screech.
Then the noise changed to words. I could hear them suddenly speaking in my head. It pierced my mind, speaking in nonsensical phrases that I could somehow comprehend. They had no voice and every voice. Like I said, “contradiction.” Bear in mind, the speech of this being is similar in structure to the Pr’mAtrian. Same as them, the Proprietor seems to be unable to translate their words into fully comprehensible human language so this is the best I can do. The following is the best translation I can provide.
You/Manager entered/were invited here to understand/know how to kill/evict Vagrant/Vandal and protect Investment/Property/Shop. We/the Proprietor know/remember It/Vagrant. It/Vagrant is/isn’t. Vagrant/Vandal was/is created from nothing/Void. It/Vagrant is/isn’t happy/angry/hates Us/You/Everyone for Existing/Being/Living. Vagrant/Vandal wants to Deface/Break/Kill You/Us/Everything for Having Form/Life. Use/Fire Gun/Tool. Not Easy/Simple. Gun/Tool useful against Living/Undead/Existent People/Folks. Vagrant/Vandal does/doesn’t exist/live. Kill/Break Living/Physical Prison/Form/Jar and put Nothing-Vagrant in Prison/Form/Jar. Bring/Deliver Jar to Us/the Proprietor. This is all approximate; I have a clearer picture of what I need to do in my head. So basically, I need to kill the physical form of this thing, then seal it in something that they gave me. It looks like a puzzle box (if Hellraiser comes to mind, I don’t blame you; I thought the same.) Why they didn’t do this for previous owners is beyond me. I reported back to Mr. A, and he was as surprised as I was. Still, he told me to keep the gun and box close at hand. Strange as the Proprietor was, I found myself trusting it. I had the impression that if it saw me as a tool or puppet, it could have easily taken over my mind, used me to kill the Vagrant rather than instructing me how to.
I have a feeling that things are really coming to a head soon, though. Just two hours ago, I got a call. Before I could answer, an enraged voice snarled, “You spoke to them, didn't you, you little shit?! I couldn't sense you for hours! I was starting to think you’d gotten so scared you decided to finish the job yourself! What did they tell you?!”
I stayed quiet, instinctively reaching for the gun. ”What. Did. They. Tell. You?!” it demanded again through clenched teeth, all arrogance and mockery gone. Still I said nothing. It shrieked, “Damn it, tell me or I’m going to carve you into tiny pieces and make your dog fucking eat them!” “You sound scared,” I replied coldly and with a hint of mockery of my own. There was silence on the other end. Then my right ear erupted in pain as the Vagrant screeched furiously. I dropped the phone and fell, clutching my ear which was ringing with tinnitus. Cerberus rushed to my side and began nudging me. Once the pain began to subside the sound of high, deranged laughter sounded from the phone’s speakers. Then I heard a sound that chilled my blood more than this sadistic creature’s laughter, something that made all three of Cerberus's heads begin barking and growling. It was sealed up, but I could hear it all the same.
It began knocking from inside the warehouse where I first saw it, all while the phone kept broadcasting its laughter.

Hello Guardians,
First, I want to talk about a very new and unique interaction that makes Behemoths almost unkillable when played properly.
Now I previously did a post about the niche 3-Stack Behemoth strategy, which I called the “Forbidden Build” (HERE).
But in short, three Guardians run Behemoth, wear Hoarfrost-Z and continually create and break stasis crystals, thereby constantly farming overshields, all the while while advancing towards and then securing the zone.
But with Season of the Deep, Bungie introduced a very special weapon - the exotic Strand trace rifle from the new dungeon, The Navigator.
The Navigator’s exotic perk is that firing this weapon at an ally grants Woven Mail to both the user and the target - while also refunding bullets to the mag.
And that’s when I asked myself: Is it possible for me to be more of a piece of shit than last season?
See, I discovered that Woven Mail actually STACKS with all of the Behemoth damage reduction buffs in PVP.

Damage Reduction

That’s right… Behemoth now has THREE separate ways to reduce damage or grant damage resist, and they all stack.

1. Whisper of Chains, which grants a 15% global damage resist when near a stasis crystal
   
2. The Rime Overshield, which grants +100 HP when you have max overshield; and now
   
3. Woven Mail which gives you 25% damage resist to body shots.
   

Stack these three forms of damage resist, and all of a sudden, you can literally eat a Jotunn shot to the face and shrug it off.
NB: Your Rime Overshield does not take less body damage with Woven Mail BUT Woven Mail + Whisper of Chains DR do stack once you're on normal shields/HP! You can see the first part of the video for demonstrations.

Behemoth Buffs

Now I get it, you might be thinking… OK, you basically added Woven Mail to your last Behemoth Build. That’s clever, but is that it?
Nope. Not even close.
Behemoth was buffed across the board with Season of the Deep, and it seems like people still haven’t realised yet. So let’s talk buffs.

1. The Shiver Strike melee was buffed and now goes faster and travels further. This is noticeable in regular play, but it gets crazy when you pop super. The Behemoth shiver strike melee whilst in super is absurd - we’re talking Beyond Light stasis levels of movement and speed. Check it out for yourself.
   
2. The Howl of the Storm melee is now easier to use and freezes in a wider cone, making it a reliable and absolutely nasty shutdown ability much like it was prior to the nerfs.
   

And lastly, Trials is no longer vanilla elimination, it’s Zone Control. In other words, not only was Behemoth directly buffed, it was also indirectly buffed because the main game mode of endgame PvP is quite literally tailor made for the Behemoth kit.

Build Overview

With the build that I’m about to show you, you’ll get:
- Three separate forms of damage resist
- Near infinite ability uptime
- Supersonic movement tools;
All of which, played in the Dominion game mode, where those tools have the most impact.
So let’s get to the build.
First things first, this is a TEAM BUILD - in other words, you NEED a 3-stack of Behemoths - so be sure to send this video to convince your friends to stack up together.
Also, what’s devious about this build is that it’s VERY accessible. You do not need to be an insanely cracked PvP player to make this work. You know that saying that: “God made man, but Samuel Colt made them equal.”
This Behemoth team build is the great equaliser, and when used properly, is so utterly broken and stifling that you will beat teams that you have no right beating.

Aspects and Fragments

So for the Triple Behemoth build, you need at least two other teammates running Behemoth and ALL of YOU need to equip:
- Tectonic Harvest; and
- Howl of the Storm
In terms of fragments, you will want to equip:
- Whisper of Conduction, which means that nearby stasis shards track to your position. This way you don’t have to actually go and pick up your stasis shards, they’ll just float over to you and get absorbed. It also gives you a pretty nice stat boost of +10 to intellect and +10 to resilience. What a bargain.
- Whisper of Chains, which means that you will have damage resist when you are near frozen targets or a friendly Stasis crystal. It also grants you a very nice +10 to recovery.
- Whisper of Shards, which means that shattering a stasis crystal will grant improved grenade ability regeneration. Shattering more crystals will ended this effect. This fragment also grants you +10 resilience, yet another fantastic stat boost.
- Whisper of Rime, which means that collecting a stasis shard will give you a small amount of overshield which lasts 10 seconds. Collecting more shards adds to the overshield and extends the duration.
In terms of abilities, you will want to equip:
- Glacier Grenade
- Shiver Strike; and
- Rally Barricade.

Exotic Armor

As for exotic armour, for this specific build, you will need to use Hoarfrost Z, which you can get from farming Lost Sectors. Hoarfrost turns your regular barricade into a giant wall of stasis crystals. Remember to use the rally barricade for a lower cool-down, as there’s no difference in the size of the wall when using rally barricade with the Hoarfrost chest piece. So it’s the same wall but with a lower cooldown than using towering barricade.
Alright, so remember how Tectonic Harvest means you create stasis shards when you break crystals? And stasis shards give you free over shield because of Whisper of Rime? And breaking those crystals gives you faster ability regen for more crystals cos of Whisper of Shards? Which in turn leads to more shards, and even more over shield?
Yeah.
See, three Behemoths together can literally produce an infinite amount of crystals by using their grenades, their howl of the storm melees and even their class ability when you use the Hoarfrost Z chest piece.
And infinite crystals means… you got it! INFINITE OVERSHIELDS.
But wait there’s more… Those overshields also stack with the 15% damage resist you get when standing nearby any friendly crystals. AND with the new Navigator Exotic Trace rifle you can also stack a layer of Woven Mail on top of all that.

How To Play The Build

So this is how you play the build. You figure out where the zone is, and you basically build a gigantic fortnight palace of stasis crystals nearby and slowly creep closer and closer to the zone by expanding your sphere of stasis crystals. You literally want to be making and breaking crystals constantly, generating over shield and dominating the area that will eventually become the capture zone.
See here’s what’s brutal about this build and play style. It forces your opponents to engage while you are in your strongest position and they are in their weakest.
Your opponents are forced to push or the game goes to time and you capture the zone. But if they push, they’re pushing into 3 behemoths with over shields, damage resist, and cover in the form of exploding stasis crystals.
Now when your opponents are about to engage, which usually happens when the zone becomes active for capture, get your teammate to give you all Woven Mail immediately before the fight starts which gives you:

• 200HP
• A 100 HP Overshield;
• 15% Global Damage reduction from Whisper of Chains; and
• 25% body shot damage reduction from Woven Mail.

Congratulations, you are literally unable to be 1-shot by virtually any single shotgun, fusion rifle or grenade launcher.

Weapons

Now, in terms of weapons, the most important thing is that ONE member of your fireteam runs The Navigator trace rifle. The Navigator doesn’t really need be used in combat but rather as a way to self-buff your team before engagements.
And the nice thing about using this build is that you KNOW when the engagements are going to happen. They’re going to happen when the zone becomes active for capture, whether that’s Trials or Survival.
Other than the Navigator, I recommend that everyone else uses Cerberus paired with either a Grenade Launcher or a Fusion Rifle.
Now you might be thinking, that’s a weird combo, why those specific weapons? Well, Cerberus 1 lets you break crystals faster than any other weapon in the game and building then breaking crystals is quite literally the centerpiece of this build.
Grenade launchers are used because apart from doing huge chunk damage to the opponent, if the grenade launcher detonates next to a stasis crystal near your opponent, the stasis detonation plus the grenade launcher can basically 1-shot them. If you don’t like grenade launchers, you can also use fusions to very good effect.
And Fusion rifles are excellent to use because you can literally just trade fusion shot for fusion shot with an opponent and you’ll win 100% of the time. If they shoot you with a fusion, you survive because of your damage resist, but if you shoot them back, they die. It’s like those old movies where two people duel with pistols - except in our case, we’re wearing a bullet proof vest.

“The plan is simple,” the Custodian stated, surrounded by about thirty other holograms. All had taken on a human form, following the example of their current leader. “You all have plenty of processing power to spare, and we desperately need to get these two out of the city and back to the surface. I’ll focus on moving them through the maintenance tunnels, you all help distract the rogue security drones.”
He paused for a moment, which Carter knew was for the benefit of the organics in the room, and then turned to the massive vehicle behind him. “Try not to destroy too many of them. They’re hard to replace right now.”
He turned to face Carter and Lenaya, who were seated next to the maintenance robot that would, ideally, carry them to safety. The rest of the holograms turned as well, their movements stiff, unnatural, and perfectly synchronized. As one, they bowed before vanishing.
Carter knew they were just following orders; the Custodian had said that they were little more than decision trees without personalities. Still, it felt strange to have so many powerful beings bowing to him, showing him deference. A quick glance down told him Lenaya felt the same.
The large transport rose from the floor and took up a position at the bay door, and Carter lifted Lenaya from her chair. The maintenance robot moved closer, helping to secure her to its top before positioning itself in front of the hatch that would lead them out. Carter glanced over at the Custodian, who nodded. He climbed on top of his own robot, and the hatch opened. Both drones surged forward, entering the tunnel with a precision only available to an AI.
Behind him, Carter could hear the bay door open, accompanied by an electronic screech as the security drones noticed the movement. Then the maintenance hatch closed, and the only sound was the rushing of air and the wheels of the drone.
“Left turn incoming!” Yelled the Custodian, his voice ringing out from the speakers on both drones.
Carter held on as they made a sharp turn, the jury-rigged restraints holding him in place as they rounded the corner. He saw Lenaya ahead of him, shaken by the sudden maneuver but still seated. A moment later, he was weightless, the ceiling rushing toward him as the ground sloped away. He watched Lenaya as she leaned back, just barely clearing the top of the tunnel as gravity gently reminded the drone that its wheels belonged on the floor.
Carter laid back and waited, the speed of the launch just barely low enough that he passed under the concrete unharmed. With a jarring slam, he was reunited with the ground, and their speed picked up again.
“Way too close!” he yelled, intently watching the passage ahead.
“You two really are alike. She said the same thing. To which I replied, ‘perfectly calculated.’”
“Maybe calculate in a warning next time!”
“She said that too.”
They travelled in relative silence for several minutes longer, taking seemingly random turns and, at one point, pausing to wait before darting across an open area.
“Not good,” the Custodian said as they reentered the maintenance tunnels. “They’ve just opened the transport and they know you’re not in there. Traffic control is monitoring them, says they’re moving to block the exits to the city.”
“Can’t we take the tunnels all the way out?” Lenaya asked.
“Not anymore. They’ve activated security checkpoints along the tunnel network. That blows our backup plan too. And the five other options I was considering. And they just locked down the transportation hub, so that’s also no good, even if we could get you through the scrambler with it. I don’t think we have any good options left.”
Carter closed his eyes to think, running through every possible scenario, every movie he had seen, every book and comic he had read, looking for something, anything, that could conceivably get them out. He came up blank.
“Water!” Lenaya said, excitement apparent in her voice. “A city this big has to have a sizable water supply, and the treated water has to go somewhere, right?”
Carter was stunned. A solution so simple, insane or not, and it had slipped by him. Even the Custodian seemed shocked.
“I…” the Custodian paused. “That could work, if you go out with the treated waste water. It won’t be easy. Or remotely safe. Even getting there would be a suicide run. But, I suppose… yes, I can meet you there with the equipment. But I can’t do much for you once you enter the network. You’ll be on your own.”
“You’re insane,” Carter said, not breaking eye contact. “At least I know where Zaylie gets it from. Let’s do this.”
Wordlessly, the drones shot forward through the tunnel, the space now wide enough to ride side by side. Carter unstrapped his plasma repeater and checked the canister before passing it to Lenaya.
“Quick lesson,” he said as she took the weapon. “Narrow end points at stuff you want obliterated. Green button on the side means it’s safe, red means it’s live. Push it to switch. The trigger on the grip makes it fire. It was designed for human hands, so you should have no trouble using it. You don’t have the smart sights my helmet had, so you’ll just have to eyeball it. Don’t shoot unless I tell you to. You probably won’t do any damage, even with a hit, but it might be enough to blind them for a second.”
She nodded, shouldering the repeater like a professional. “I’ve seen enough movies to understand the basics. I never thought I’d ever use one though.”
“With any luck, you won’t,” the Custodian said, cutting into their conversation. “Security presence around the pump station is minimal. I think we can get away with not having a fight, especially when you stand no chance of winning one.”
“We always have a chance,” Carter said. “And I’d rather improve the odds, even if it’s only by a little.”
He drew his revolver, checked the cylinder, and replaced the missing round that he’d fired ten days ago. It felt so recent, but also a lifetime away. Carter stopped to reflect on what his life had become in the last cycle. He’d gone from being a rookie cop on an alien construct to being the author of every procedure the force was using.
He’d become a father, and rescued his daughter’s mother, and had potentially saved the Ring in the process. He’d explored an alien city, seen technology that would have been science fiction just a couple cycles ago, and met the most powerful being on the Ring. And now, he was on his way toward a waste water treatment facility, planning to dive into the outflow pipe to end up who knows where. He couldn’t help but laugh.
“What is my life right now?” he asked. “If I didn’t know better, I’d say I was in a coma, and this was all a weird dream.”
“From what you’ve said about your life,” Lenaya said, “it must feel strange. Everything is new, and different, and you seem to run from one disaster to the next.”
“Yeah, that about sums it up. After this, no more disasters. Someone else can handle them, I’m just going to teach.”
“I think I’m done being abducted and experimented on, too,” said Lenaya, watching the passage ahead. “It doesn’t exactly pay well, and the hours are awful.”
Carter burst out laughing again. When he dried his eyes, he could see a riot of colors playing across her skin as her own laughter died out.
“Well if you’re sure you’re done with it…”
“Hate to interrupt,” the Custodian said, interrupting for the third time in as many days, “but we’ll be leaving the tunnels very soon. I’m not detecting any security activity on our path yet, but it would be wise to keep watch.”
“It’s never a matter of if, only when,” Carter noted. “Something’s going to go wrong, and it’ll usually happen at the worst possible time.”
“That’s incredibly pessimistic,” Lenaya said, looking back over her shoulder. “Accurate, but pessimistic.”
“Left turn, and then we’re in the open. It’s about a thirty span run from there to the building. I can confirm there are no security drones inside, but I am detecting movement outside. No cameras close enough to identify the cause.”
“Lay flat,” Carter yelled as they rounded the corner. “Minimize your profile and it might be harder for them to target us.”
The hatch opened ahead of them, and Carter took the lead, his robot surging forward to burst out into the open. He immediately began surveying their surroundings and quickly identified the source of the movement.
“Drones, above and behind!”
He turned and stabilized himself, waiting to see what it did. The drone responded by charging the central laser, the lens in its core glowing a blue-white as energy poured in. It was quickly struck by a flurry of plasma.
“WHOOO!” Lenaya cheered, sending another stream of glowing blue bolts at it.
Carter steadied his aim, and just as the drone turned to focus on the new threat, he fired. The bullet struck the armor, detonating with a CRACK and a puff of smoke, and the drone turned its attention back to him. With a rush, they entered the treatment plant, the security drone just barely scraping through the rapidly closing doors. Lenaya fired another burst, one shot striking the lens of the laser weapon. The glow faded, and Carter could see that the plasma had warped the crystal.
He leveled the revolver. They were at close range, the drone was flying straight and steady, and the floor under him was smooth. It was a big target. He knew it was still a long shot. Carter pulled the trigger. The lens shattered.
The initial explosion was muffled by the drone’s body. The second explosion tore the drone’s body apart. Bits of metal rained down around them as their rides swerved to avoid the larger chunks.
“What did I hit?” Carter yelled, his ears ringing from the blast.
“Capacitor for the heavy photon cannon,” the Custodian said, increasing his volume to compensate for Carter’s damaged hearing. “It discharged into the fuel reserve, which caused the tank to rupture.”
“Rupture is definitely a word for what happened.”
“Detecting intrusions in multiple locations. It’s going to be close. Equipment incoming on your left.”
Carter saw the maintenance robot rolling up next to him with a small gas canister attached to a mask. He grabbed the breathing apparatus and pulled the mask down over his head before turning to see Lenaya doing the same. The corridor opened up, and he could hear the sound of rushing water, steadily growing louder as they approached a massive pit, ringed by a railing.
He could also see several shapes hovering above them. The lasers began to charge, and he knew the miracle wouldn’t happen twice.
Least bad option., he thought as he stood and started firing.
Lenaya’s drone caught up as the Custodian caught onto his plan, and he quickly became the target of choice for the rogue security system. He managed to score glancing hits on two of the drones, the rounds sparking off their armor and detonating against the wall in the distance. As one, they began firing, short blasts intended to kill rather than the longer burst that had almost melted an armored door. Carter managed to duck just before the first volley, avoiding the lasers. The air above him shimmered with residual heat, the weaponized light scattering and refracting enough to become visible as a column of energy.
Another burst of plasma from behind him forced the drones to evade. It seemed they were learning from their previous encounter.
You should jump, the Custodian said through his implant, and Carter crouched before pushing hard into the air. Below, he could see the maintenance drones stopped at the edge of the pit, the water swirling rapidly below. He twisted in midair, searching for Lenaya. He barely caught sight of her splash as she vanished beneath the surface. He saw a flash from the corner of his eye, and his back lit up with pain as heat washed over him. Carter hit the water as his consciousness faded.

Apologies for the late post. We’re trying to get the puppies acclimated to other dogs (and specific other dogs acclimated to the puppies) before we have to dog sit at the end of the month. It’s going better than expected, but our expectations were low so that isn’t saying much. I’m not going to have as much writing time over the next few weeks because we’re doing this every couple of days. Expect more delays throughout the month, and a break on the last week.

Is it normal for new neurological symptoms to appear after starting injections? Half a year ago, I started injecting vitamin B12 because my red blood cell and hemoglobin levels were low. Before that, I experienced fatigue, but there were no pronounced neurological symptoms. After starting the injections, new symptoms occasionally appear. I had muscle pain, ringing in my ears, and currently, light sensitivity in my eyes. The overall trend is improving, but new symptoms arise. My hematologist believes that monthly injections are sufficient to maintain a normal red blood cell level. My B12 level was still low, so I started injecting weekly on my own. Is it normal for new neurological symptoms to appear that weren't present before? And approximately how long does it take for B12 levels to normalize?

I'm stuck.
I've been stuck for a while and am stagnating in my own filth.
So this guy is a regular customer at my place of employment. We've been small talking for 2 years. He wears a wedding ring and talks about his wife. So far, NBD. But he's super easy on the eyes and when we chat we have so much fun, since we click and never run out of things to talk about. We tell each other about what's going on in our lives and show each other pictures on our phones of kids and trips and whatnot. I actually do this with several of my regular customers. Just keeping up with them and enjoying the camaraderie. But with HIM it hits different.
Let's call him David. He's married to Aphrodite and she's as pretty as they come. I used to consider David to be out of my league but now that we know each other better I can tell he's definitely in my league. My own low self-esteem eats away at me. He thinks I'm a catch.
David tells me about a recipe since he loves to cook. I tell him I'd like to have the recipe and he asks for my number so he can text it to me. It was very nonchalant, and I didn't put too much stock into the exchange. Before long, we're FB friends.
One day he asks if we can meet up and talk. We've never spoken to each other outside of my place of employment. Sure. I'm wearing my sweatpants and have just washed the makeup off my face. It's just talk. Except it wasn't.
I'm nervous and giggling and he touched my lower back and that's all it took. Next thing, I'm kissing him and it was incredible. He put his hands down my pants and I can feel him getting hard. Now I'm nervous because I haven't freshened up down there and hadn't shaved in a while. And he's married. OMG what am I doing in this situation with a married man??? I told him I can't do this and we just held each other for a little bit.
The next day he asks to meet up again to talk. Insists that talk is the only thing that will happen. He says he's sorry, he can't do this. I asked if he's ever cheated on his wife before. No. David's reaction was so involuntary, so genuine, I believe him. He tells me that I am a signature person in his life and that I am too important to him to lose me but he can't do this. I can't either.
Our relationship has now changed, and he is still a regular customer. We were still occasionally texting friendly, platonic stuff, but that has waned. He's pulled away from me, as he rightly should.
But my heart is still tied to his in a way that I cannot explain. I have no interest in any other man, since no one can compare to David. He has literally ruined all other men for me.
I have no doubt he loves his wife and family and that I am a colossal mistake to him. We each crossed our own boundaries, but I have no regrets. I feel bad that I don't regret it. If he called me right now and wanted to hook up, I'd be all in. I see pictures of him and Aphrodite on FB and I hate it that he met her before he met me. She seems so lovely and doesn't deserve any of this.
I still have the utmost respect for David and it takes everything in me all day every day to not text him. We occasionally chat when he comes into my business, and once in a while I see him look away or I see a deep sigh before he turns away. He has to come into my business for his job. It's unavoidable.
The spark is gone because he purposely extinguished it. It had to be done. All it takes is one funny quip or a small something or other and I see his eyes light up before going dark again. It's torture and I am following his lead.
How do I move on? I have no desire to date anyone. I don't have the headspace to even start a friendship with another man because it wouldn't be fair to the new guy. David is on my mind all the time and I don't know how to let go.

Hey guys,
I am not satisfied with the loot system and content right now and I want to elaborate why:
There are 51 unique items in total in diablo4, and only 13 of them are for all classes. So in average your character could wear around 20 uniques, many are trash and absolutely not viable though.
There are no set items
There are no runes
There are no runewords
So basically, all we have is rare (yellow) items, maybe 1-2 uniques that are good for your build. Even legendary items are just rares with an aspect, and since you put aspects on all your gear, they are just rare items aswell.
So we go grind dungeons. After every dungeon, my inventory is filled with rare (and legendary, but as I said, they are rares) items. There is absolutely no excitement in dropping items, maybe with level 30 dropping your first legendary item. Every after is just picking up all the yellow and orange stuff, checking if something is better, if yes replace it and then grind on
Coming from Diablo2, a 20 year old game, I had lots of items to find there. Mighty Runes with a chance of 1:600000 to find, and once you found some runes you could build runewords with them.
Green set items that were really cool to collect and gave your character a special look, although the sets were not for the absolute lategame, they were enough to kill enemies the whole game.
Blue items like charms, you could find a charm that gave you +1 to a certain skill and maybe another useful bonus. Hell, some blue items were even worth several hundred dollars. Some of my OG boys here might remember 3/20/20 charms, +1 skill 45 life skillers, 6/40 javelins, but also the excitement of just finding an ist rune after a ladder start, a Tal rasha set armor, or building your first enigma.
And now, what do I have? I can grind for hours, slay nightmare dungeons and helltides, just to get my inventory flooded with more yellow and orange items that are 99% trash and once in a while you can replace one
I remember one week ago when we found our first legendaries in D4, and we were super happy and like „yea man I found another legendary ring“.
Well, that joy is gone now. I’m not happy if I see 371763 rares and legendaries anymore. I pick, I look, I sell..
What is your opinion on this topic?

After taking advice on this subreddit, I talk to my GM. he said that we need to be versatile. Meaning we will certainly go in combat zone but also spend time in much wealthy environment. Our group is not heavy combat oriented.
My Solo is a former Body guard. (perception + Conceal/Unconc + Brawling + Melee) turned Bounty hunter (Tracking - street wise - Shoulder arms)
He lacks a lot in Tech, which is subject to many jokes by his teammates, especially because he can't take care of his own AR.
Party : 1 Media (which will be the center of gravity) + 1 Tech + 1 Fixer.
At the end of the day, it's a very basic build, no x2 skills. No fancy +1 attack bonus (yet). But a solo capable of doing some other stuff.

I test drove a second hand Ford Fiesta mk8 car in 2020 and the air con was making a funny noise. The salesman phoned me to say they re-gased the air-con so I went back and bought the car. Several months later I wasn’t sure if the air con was working and eventually tested it with a meat thermometer a couple of months ago to confirm it’s just blowing hot air.
I took it back to the garage I bought it from and they quoted me £170 to re-gas and use a UV dye to search for a leak. They then said they found the leak and it would cost over £600 to fix and that they managed to reclaim the gas before it leaked out. They wanted me to pay the £170 bill to take the car home while deciding what to do. I had to really push the garage to reduce the bill based on the premise they reclaimed the gas, they put me through to the sales manager who easily then said yes of course I shouldn’t have to pay the full amount as the gas was reclaimed. I paid £130 and got the car home.
I told them I had lost my trust in them as I had raised the air con issue before buying the car and that’s when they should have noticed the leak. They tried to say that they have paperwork their end showing they did check for leaks when they re-gased the car before I purchased it and that the leak didn’t exist then.
I then took my car to a garage I trust, assuming they could see where the leak is and then quote on fixing it. But, we couldn’t see the UV dye anywhere to show where the leak was. I phoned the untrusted garage and they specified where the leak was (different position to where they originally told me). I still can’t find the leak. My trusted garage even gave me a UV light to take home and check myself, I can’t find anything. The un-trusted garage even gave me the list of parts they said needed replacing but I can’t find where these parts are:

What are my options - I would really like to get my air-con fixed but my trusted garage isn’t really great at things like that and I don’t trust the first garage
